I was very happy that I could stay with Delia. From the first moment I arrived I felt at home in her house. She took me around the first day and showed me the neighborhood and even borrowed me warm clothes to survive in cold Minnesota winter - Besides that the room was comfortable and the neighborhood super save, so I could come home in the middle of the night without having to worry.
I would defiantly stay there again if I came back to St. Paul.
I had a great time staying with Delia. The house is beautiful, Delia and my housemates are all great people and conversationalists, and the location is the perfect balance of quiet and accessible. This is a great place to stay if you want to see the cities or if you're staying longer!
Although I stayed only one night, it was a really enjoyable experience! Delia is such a cool person, very energetic, fun, knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. The house is beautiful and the room I was staying in was wonderful! Very spacious and clean bathroom, super comfortable bed and a walk-in closet. The neighborhood is very green, quiet and pretty. The house is very close to the bus stop (maybe 2-3 minute walk) and the bus can take you anywhere you need. Definitely recommend to stay here!!
Delia was very welcoming and friendly. The home was just what I was looking for with a room and private bath, plus a common area with other guests. this allowed for easy socializing when I wanted it, or privacy when that was what I preferred. I will likely use this space again if I find myself returning to St. Paul.
Delia was a great host, who has had a lot of experience with hosting people, especially visiting students at UMN. She is a warm and helpful host. Delia is also very energetic, positive, and joyful all the time. She lives with some of the most adorable and loving pets I've ever met (2 cats and 2 dogs). She has an amazing family, who come by and visit her sometime on weekends. I was lucky enough to meet and hangout with her son, Grisha, who was very nice and friendly. Overall, I had a great experience staying at Delia's place. I highly recommend her place to any visitor of St. Paul. I'll definitely come back to her place if I have to visit UMN again.
Delia has a beautiful home and is set up nicely for guests. House has an open atmosphere and international feel - international travelers were staying there during my visit, which was fun to know though I did not meet them given my short stay. Delia was very welcoming and kind. I had a very short visit, one night, but would absolutely return again!
It was such a pleasure staying with Delia who was simply delightful, gracious and welcoming. Our room (and especially our bed) was so comfortable; big warm bathroom, with plenty of hot water. Delia has designed a great kitchen which she invited us to use at anytime...we favor simple breakfasts so the fact that there was plenty of coffee and delicious artisan raisin nut bread made us very happy. We were on business in St. Paul, and we looked forward to returning "home" every evening rather than staying in a downtown St. Paul hotel. In fact, we were able to explore some of the area's great restaurants because we could drive to them from this location, knowing there would be easy, safe, street parking when we returned. And every morning it was a quick drive down town. Steve and I will definitely stay here again on our next trip to St. Paul. If Delia is a reflection of Airbnb, well then, bravo to this way of traveling.
