The world famous 6th street is 2 blocks distance, and the rest of downtown is easily accessed by foot, pedicab, or traditional taxi.

Interaction with Guests
I like to interact with my guests as much or as little as they would like. I am always available (24/7) to answer questions via email, text, or phone, and I enjoy meeting many of my guests. However, I am also very respectful, and allow my guests to determine how much interaction they would like to have. Ever since I setup automatic door locks, there are some guests that I have not ever met in person. Whatever works best for the guest, works fine for me.
I love that the downtown neighborhood is so vibrant, and provides the ability to walk to the best restaurants, bars, shopping, and nightlife in Austin. The Railyard is in a unique location that is hard to beat. I also appreciate the convenient access to Town Lake for hiking and biking trails, among other things.
In addition to the Airport Flyer that I already mentioned, there are also pedicabs, taxi cabs, light rail, horse-drawn carriages, limousines, and other forms of public transportation within a block that can be easily accessed.
Other Things to Note
If you are interested in hosting an even larger group, please note that I own and manage a large number of units in the same building complex, as well as some nearby houses. I am happy to host large groups for weddings, convention center trade shows, and other events in Austin.
Check-in is 3pm. Check-out is 11am. These times can be flexible (when possible), but we will need to communicate in advance so we can plan accordingly.
All guests must abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the condominium complex pertaining to noise, trash, and smoking violations, etc. Any fines incurred will be the responsibility of the tenant. Be advised that noise violations start at $250 per occurrence. These fines can be assessed by the HOA without warning, however, we have never heard of a warning not being issued by a neighbor in advance. If somebody asks you to keep it down, please immediately accommodate them. If a fine is assessed, it will be deducted from your security deposit.
Please do not smoke or leave trash outside of the unit in the common areas. Please do not smoke in the unit or an additional cleaning fee will be charged. If you choose to use the alarm system, please be aware that any false alarms that are created (sending for police and the fire department), will be a assessed per occurrence.
Although we are animal lovers, pets are strictly prohibited. Please respect this rule or risk forfeiting the security deposit and any fees for damage.
A welcome email will be provided after your reservation is confirmed with all of the details for your stay, including your unique automatic door lock codes and assigned parking. We will also provide suggestions for local attractions, restaurants, bars, and much more.
Funky apartment in an incredible location of Austin. My wife and I stayed here with another couple. The two rooms worked great for this arrangement.
One thing that could improve this place would be adding some more furniture and dishes. The living room felt like it needed more seating and it would have been really nice to have patio furniture on the deck. There were only a few glasses so we'd end up going through them pretty quickly. It'd be nice if there was a bit more in the kitchen.
Otherwise this place was fantastic. Clean, funky, and a great area.
Thank you for staying, as well as taking the time to write a review. We will definitely grab more glasses from inventory as there should have been an ample amount during your stay. Sometimes, things go missing as I am sure you can appreciate. Thanks for the heads up! I hope you will come back and visit again. You will have to try a different condo in the same complex next time to see what you like better.
Just as pictured! Ryan was very nice and easy to get a hold of. I would stay here again!
Perfect location and worked out great for our groups 1 night stay. Very stylish apt/loft and walking distance to tons of fun Austin sites. The information that Ryan and his team gave was very informative and easy to follow. Also, I still was able to contact someone and talk to a real person! So nice, especially after a long day of bike riding. I wasn't sure what the parking garage/loading and unloading luggage situation would be like and they were again very understanding and informative on what might be best since we had 2 cars. Saw there was a pool but unfortunately we didn't have enough time...next time hopefully we can stay longer and enjoy all the amenities. Thank you!
I rented 5 apartments from Ryan on Air BnB for a weekend in Austin (getting my MBA at UChicago and we only travel in packs); the Speakeasy, Retro Chic, Argyle, Grant Austin, and the Cosmopolitan. The apartments are well furnished and well kept.
Ryan and his property manager (Thomas) are extremely accessible and helpful. All of my questions were quickly answered and it was nice that they checked in with us during the weekend, and were extremely flexible on the check in / check out times.
The only thing (and this is CLEARLY written in the apartment descriptions, so its just something I should have thought about more carefully) is that it sometimes does really stink to sleep on air mattresses, so if you can at all, I'd highly recommend you only bring enough people that there are beds for.
Great place to stay in Austin, perfect location and Ryan couldn't have given us more information if he tried, very helpful!
Everything was provided as promised.
Would definitely stay here again.
I highly recommend staying at The Argle. Ryan and his team (Thomas and Jared) were so amazing. Any time I called to ask a question or had issues they gave us immediate response and were very happy to help us. The location is ideal for anything you could possibly need to be near. It's just down the street from the river trail as well which was really amazing for morning runs. Thanks to Ryan and his team!

About the Host, Ryan
I have been in Austin since 1994. As much as I love the city, I also enjoy traveling and photographing vacation destinations and tourist attractions around the world. As a registered travel agent, I am able to work while I enjoy tours and activities in places like London, Paris, Rome, New York, San Francisco, and Hawaii, to name a few.
I have always wanted to own/operate a hotel. That has been a passion of mine since I was a child. For that reason, I enjoy having guests staying in my rental properties, and I want to provide so much more than just a place to stay. My goal is to create a memorable experience for my guests. I want my guests to know that not only does Austin deliver a good time, but that this home away from home is waiting for you. With my connections in the travel industry, and tenure in the city, I strive to provide a level of service you will not find with other rental managers.
Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like. I enjoy talking about Austin and the property, so I welcome you to communicate with me. I am here to help, and your good time is my priority.
