Unfortunately, my late arrival prevented me from meeting with Nollaig but the cottage was as described and quite cozy.
This was a great place! It was just as advertised, nestled in the countryside. Nollaig was great! She was quick to get us checked in and settled. The place was clean and warm.
We had a great time at Nollaig and Richards lovely house.
The place was nice and warm thanks to the glowing stove that warmed us up on a chilly evening, which they had burning for us when we arrived.
Very close to Liscannor, Lehinch, The Cliffs of Moher and early morning walks in The Burren, this was a great stay!
A great place to relax or to get out and see the sights of County Clare. Secluded and peaceful. Clean and cute. We had a great stay. Nollaig was easy to communicate with and made it very easy to arrive and depart on our own schedule. Wifi was not reliable but if you're looking for a place in the Irish countryside this is probably no big deal. We would definitely stay again.
A great house in lovely rural location. Very accommodating host..
Richard and Nollaig were lovely, and met us on time despite the fact that we booked at very short notice. The house is lovely - nice comfy bed with nice fresh sheets. It has a gorgeous and very effective gas heater which meant the house was really cosy despite the storms. There is an electric shower, so there is always hot water. The house is newly done up, so is all clean and fresh.
The house has plenty of cooking equipment, so you can make home cooked meals. Tea and coffee and other cooking essentials are provided.
There is also a TV with Irish channels and an integrated DVD player, which was handy when the weather was really bad.
