We had a wonderful time here. It's in the northern Upper East Side and right on the subway 6 line. You can see the subway on the next block from the window, its great! We also took a short walk to Central Park and walked south and that was awesome. The apartment is pretty cool and as shown. It was extremely clean and was wonderfully equip with fine linens, thick towels, partially stocked kitchen with basics like oils, vinegar, spices (although we chose not to cook), plus all the cookware, serving, glassware you could want. The furnishings were extremely comfortable. The shower head is worth noting --- its amazing! Oh, and there was plenty of storage space in the closet and small drawers to accommodate us. The building is secure and well lit. As this was our first airbnb experience as visitors, we could not be happier! We loved it! As an airbnb host myself, I learned from this experience and am grateful!
My husband and I just arrived home from our weeklong stay at Greg's. We are indeed very happy with the immaculately clean apartment. It was indeed as advertised though the pix doesn't do it justice, coz it actually looks better and much bigger in real life.
From the moment we arrived we were made very welcomed by Robert who took the time and introduced us to the the apartment.
It's fully loaded -- and what was even better was we can cook our own brekkie in the apartment coz there were 2 fresh marts nearby. It's a wonderful neighborhood and the 96th St subway was just right at the corner, which is super convenient.
The shower is super powerful and lovely! And the bed was so comfortable and the linens provided were plush and of high quality -- terrific!
The surrounding area was wonderful with lots of eateries nearby -- And there was a CVS nearby.
Overall a stay to remember --
Thanks for hosting us Greg & Robert, we had a wonderful time and beautiful memories to carry home.
Very comfortable 1 bedroom with lots of extras. Our host Robert was extremely helpful and did a great job greeting us as well as describing all of the features. As many have stated the street noise is significant to any non-city folks but we adapted fairly quickly. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone needing accommodations in the UPE side of NYC.
Greg's place was perfect for our recent trip to New York. It is more spacious than the photos look but otherwise the photos are accurate. It is also conveniently located less than a block from the subway so it was easy to get around and within easy walking to many museums and Central Park. Greg left guidebooks and maps and a Time Out for current activities in New York. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, plates, silverware etc and the shower has amazing water pressure! As other reviewers have mentioned, it is not an apartment for light sleepers though. The building is older and there is significant street noise. We were able to used a white noise app that allowed us to sleep through the night so we managed. Nevertheless, Greg's apartment was a great place to stay!
Apartment was nicely decorated and in a wonderful neighborhood. However the talk (no action) about fixing the intermittent Internet and TV was not helpful.

I rented this apt for my parents. I will definitely rent it again. Here is their review:
Robert is a very nice host. The apartment is clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Dishware, silverware, other equipments and materials for personal use are very clean and enough to fulfill the needs for a good brunch or a dinner (if one is decided to cook). Numerous windows make the place very bright and offer a pleasant morning view of the city. Located at most 15-20 minutes by metro, from the effervescent mid and lower Manhattan, the effective mobility system is at no more than 50 yards from the building doors. Three blocks walk and the Central Park is at one’s reach. Another short walk and good supply of food markets and gourmet options, wine choices and a variety of tasty ethnic restaurants. After leaving the place, a desire to come back soon.
