Beautifully renovated 3 storey, mid terrace property. 3 BEDROOMS - 1 WITH A STANDARD DOUBLE BED AND 2 WITH QUEEN SIZED BEDS. 2 Bathrooms. Lovely views of the River. Railway station 3/4 minutes walk.

The space

The space is bright and airy. In pristine condition. Lovely comfortable furnishing and great bedrooms.

Interaction with guests

Due to work commitments I am not always available to greet guests. I am always contactable through the Airbnb app to deal with any issue which may arise.

Other things to note

There is on-street parking outside the front door or within 30 yards. There is a communal green which can be seen from the back of the house and is immediately accessible down a couple of steps. It's lovely to bring a cup of tea/coffee there and simply enjoy the view or give the kids space to play outside.

Prior to departure at the end of your stay, the following items must be taken care of:-

Ensure kitchen is left clear of all dirty dishes prior to your departure.

Put all rubbish in the bins provided at the rear of the property.. There is one for recycling, one for general waste and one for glass.

Prior to your departure all lights and appliances (EXCLUDING THE FRIDGE) must be switched off.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT CENTRAL HEATING CONTROLS (LOCATED IN THE KITCHEN) AND HOT WATER IMMERSION (LOCATED ON THE LANDING JUST OUTSIDE THE MAIN BATHROOM) ARE ALL SWITCHED TO THE OFF POSITION.

Leave towels which require washing in the utility area prior to departure.

Please ensure all windows and doors (Front and Back) are locked including sky lights in the main bedroom when you are out of the house and prior to your departure.

The house must be left in the same condition as when you arrive.

Additional utility bills may be applicable for long term lettings. To clarify these details, please contact me.

Just a fantastic stay and couldn't recommend it highly enough. The place is just as described, was immaculately clean and presented beautifully. It had everything needed for a great stay, was exceptionally comfy, great beds, super facilities. The back garden was just perfect with a 3 and 12 year old and meant my kids could play with the local kids therefore giving them a good experience also. The distance to Cobh was driveable but wouldn't say walkable but you really need a car in this part of Ireland. Also not a problem to get to Cork within 15 easy minutes. Fantastic views from the house over the water and was extremely relaxing. Liz was a great host, very easy to communicate with and easy to reach and I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough.

Great property. Clean, comfortable & beautifully decorated, Liz's property in Cobh was just fantastic for our week's stay. A good location for getting into Cork, Kinsale & other beautiful coastal locations. Excellent communication with host - a shame we didn't get to meet in person.

This home was great. My only complaint is that in the second bathroom that has a shower and a bath tub, we couldn't get the hot water to work. Five of us had to use one shower. Also, the pillows are very flat, I would suggest bringing your own.

We were very comfortable in Liz's lovely house, and had everything we needed. The rooms had ample space and the views were beautiful. Our young children enjoyed access to the small park with swings just behind the house. There was plenty to do in Cobh and beyond. I'm glad we had a car but we could have used the train if necessary as there is a stop very close to the house.

Liz's place is a lovely warm and welcoming home away from home and was the perfect place for my family to stay during our recent trip to Ireland. The place was ideally located for us, only 5 minutes to Cobh city centre and 25 minutes by car from Cork. It is located in a beautiful scenic location overlooking a rive with a wonderful grassy space out the back of the block for the kids to play and meet other local children. We had hired a car for our stay and there was always a car park available within 20 metres of the front door. Even if you didn't have a car it is only a short walk to the train station which will take to into Cobh city centre or Cork. The home is beautiful decorated, well equipped and maintained to a high standard, providing a high level of comfort during our stay. As we were traveling with 2 young children ( 3 year old and 6 month old) we wanted to be able to prepare a lot of our own meals. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare your own meals (pots, pans, sharp knives, cutting boards) and the Nespresso pod coffee machine was a surprising and welcome extra. The washing machine and laundry facilities also enabled us to do our own washing when we need to which was invaluable with the small children. While we didn't get to meet Liz personally she was as warm and welcoming as her home when communicating via email, often responding within a matter of minutes, with helpful advice and suggestions to any questions we had. Our visit to Ireland was a magical and memorable one, made all the more special because of Liz and her amazing place which we would highly recommend.
