Loved this cozy apartment in West Philly. The place had character with lovely artwork. Hospitable touches like fruit and chocolates to welcome me. Would definitely stay there again.
The pad is perfect for anyone visiting UPenn and or coming to Philadelphia. The location is great and the suite is set up to provide a ton of privacy. The bedroom is towards the back of the property and away from the street and so I slept like a baby. Everything was clean and user friendly.
We enjoyed our Pink House stay. Gaston and Alexa were most accommodating hosts and the apartment was conveniently located, comfortable, well appointed and equipped to meet all of our needs.
This was our first Airbnb experience, and it could not have been nicer. The apartment was roomy enough and cozy. The sitting room with dining tabled and the kitchen made it feel like a real home. The art work, paintings by one of the proprietors, added real delight to the space. The location near main thoroughfares was helpful. We were warm on a very cold weekend - a good thing in West Philly. We hope to visit again.
We stayed there 2 nights and it was great. I would love to see it in the warmer season since it's so close to Clark Park. Very convenient to transpiration and the trolly.
We stayed at the Pink House over Christmas and were warmly welcomed. The guest suite was perfect for our purposes - we had a good base to visit the city and were not constrained by the routines of a hotel stay. The accommodation is neat, clean and comfortable and the kitchen is fine for preparing breakfast and snacks (we treated ourselves to dining out in Philly). Our hosts were very much available if we needed them but were equally happy to leave us our own space to enjoy our time in the city. Bed and sofa bed were both very comfy. Al in all, highly recommended.
Gaston and Alexa have a great thing goin on! There guest suite was so warm and cozy, ideally located, and they were really kind hosts. Because of them and their perfect pink house, we were able to come together as a family from different parts of the country and celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. Thank you so much!!
My mother, 9 mo baby and I had a wonderful stay at Gaston and Alexa's Guest Suite. I highly recommend staying there. They were extremely communicative and accommodated my need for a travel cot for the baby. In addition they thoughtfully included a box of toys for her to play with in the suite for our stay and a hooded baby towel. The location was perfect for us as we were visiting my brother and his new baby that live only a few blocks away. If and when I pass through Philly again I hope to stay at the Pink House again. It was perfect.
This is a great spot if you're in Philly/Upenn area and need a convenient place nearby that's quiet and not outrageously expensive. Very quaint neighborhood with a cute breakfast/coffee place right around the corner. Close to Upenn and downtown, but takes a little bit of time to get downtown on public transit, so keep that in mind. Clean and and cute separate space in their lovely home, Gaston and his wife have filled the place with art and love. They have also thought of everything to accommodate guests. I highly recommend if you're in Upenn area! Great for an individual or a couple.
We were driving through Philly on a very long roadtrip and needed a place to spend the night along the way. We got delayed and instead of arriving at 7pm, we didnt arrive until 1am! I messaged Alexa letting her know we'd be late and not only was this not a problem (thanks to their very convenient keypad entry), she left their parking space open in case it was hard for us to find street parkong so late at night! The space was wonderful, communication was easy and we only wish we'd been able to stay for longer than the night!
