Other Things to Note
We've run the Pink House since 2009 and have over 100 5-star reviews. We love hosting guests and go out of our way to make every one feel at home.
No non-guests in house without prior permission. No smoking. We expect guests to behave as if they are staying in their friends' parents' home, that means respectfully.
The Pink House was perfect. Very cute, lots of great books and art, clean and comfortable. There was fresh organic coffee, chocolates, and the owners laid out a binder with info about the two of them and the history of the house. A lot of time and love went into creating this space. Great spot!
Amazing place! We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone visiting Philadelphia. Very hospitable!
We had a wonderful experience. Everything was very clean and the place was close to university of Pennsylvania. Michael checked on us several times to make sure that everything was okay.unfortunately, the heat was not working that day but space heaters were plenty good enough. Also there's plenty of hot water and the chocolates were a nice touch. Thank you so much.
This was a comfortable place to stay, a good value, and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Childrens books and toys, shampoos, tea, and chocolates were also nice touches.
Caveat: people who are sensitive to noise or who have small children who sleep early may not be as pleased. You can easily hear people moving through the house, playing piano (they played well, we liked this, but others might not), etc. It would not be a comfortable place for someone sensitive to noise.
The accommodation was absolutely perfect! We loved the 2 separate sleeping areas and the house was very quiet. Our toddler son enjoyed the toys in the living room. A great neighborhood with beautiful houses, and just a short walk to the trolley to get to central Philly in just a few minutes. We'll be back!
Wonderful guest suite. Both beds were spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, oatmeal, spices, oil, pots and pans, etc. Conveniently located near public transit and an easy ride to the city. Tasty restaurants nearby. Easy and flexible check in and out. Overall great experience!

I have wanted to set up a vacation rental for a long time, and we finally bought the right house to do it in the summer of 2009. We have really enjoyed welcoming guests to the best block in West Philly.
