Nathan's apartment has a great location and the apartment itself is very spacious. Nathan was very attentive and responsive before, during, and after my family's stay.
The only suggestion I would make is to have guests pay a cleaning fee instead of having them clean the apartment before their departure.
Nathan was incredibly professional, responsive, and attentive to every detail of living in this gorgeous apartment. The place was as storybook-esque as the photos make it seem. My suitemate and I were very pleased! Could not recommend more highly.
This was a great apartment to stay at while me and my friend where in DC. Close to the Zoo and Adams Morgan.
Nathan was a great host. Quick to respond to email, phone and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!
Nathan's apartment is just as the other reviewers have described: charming, clean, comfortable, and wonderfully located, and Nathan is an absolute pleasure to interact with.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a "home away from home" while visiting DC. Don't miss Tryst coffeehouse/lounge or Amsterdam falafel while you're in the neighborhood!
This is the perfect apartment for many reasons--it is close to the Woodley Park metro which makes it easy to access any part of DC. The apartment is just a couple minutes walking to Adams Morgan, where you can find a vibrant night life and a good selection of restaurants.
The apartment itself is charming and has everything you need. I stayed there for 2 months and found the apartment to be spacious and well-maintained. When I arrived, the apartment was welcoming and fully stocked.
It also has AC units which can be key in DC. All in all, I have no reservations and highly recommend!
Nathan, the host, was great--very responsive via phone or email and was able to quickly handle any questions I had. He was friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at his place.
This place is great. It s clean and spacious. The location could not be better. It is surrounded by green areas, near the Zoo, Circulator, metro station, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants... you name it. It is at walkable distance from the Mall. Nathan is a very friendly and nice person, it is difficult not to trust him after talking to him for 5 minutes. We enjoyed our stay there and will be back in the future for sure.
I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment for 10 days as my transition accommodation. I can recommend it to anyone in general, but in particular to those who are new to DC like me.
As described by the host, the apartment is very spacious, sunny and quiet, located in the upper floor. It has a high speed wifi internet access. The kitchen is ready to use with all necessary equipments and seasonings. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was fine with lots of spare towels and sheets.
It is really a few minutes walk from the subway station. I did not feel any danger even when I was coming back midnight. I saw many men and women jogging around the area late at night and early in the morning. In the vicinity of the apartment, there are Fedex, various restaurants, starbucks, supermarkets (including natural food shop) and dry cleaning shops. These facilitated my life and business.
Last but not least, the host, Nathan was very responsive and really cared for a comfortable stay for me. He was very flexible and considerate to my needs. While I had no chance to meet him personally, I felt that he really tries to ensure a comfortable stay for his guest. This is how the host should be. Thank you Nathan.
Just great. The apartment has a very large living area, massive king bed and is in the best location in DC. My wife and I and our 2 year old spent 2 weeks here when we first moved to DC as we looked for a place to live. So much better than staying in an overpriced hotel which lacks space and comfort. There is a bus stop right opposite the apartment that took me in about 10 minutes to downtown DC and it comes every 5-10 minutes. The zoo (which is free) is 5 minutes walk from the apartment and a great place to take young children. Adams morgan shops and restaurants are right at your door step also.
We believe this unit is the best priced (given the large space), best located of all the units we saw on airbnb. The check in process was also completely flexible as was check out. We even extended a few nights and Nathan held off other reservations to give us preference. He also responds to emails superfast.
Two thumbs up!
Nathan's apartment is in a great location for enjoying DC like a native. My husband and I are pretty familiar with DC but Nathan was ready to give us more info if we needed it and in fact he leaves a stack of local maps and guidebooks for guests. He was clearly very busy when we booked but the apartment was clean and inviting when we arrived and he even found time to meet with me and show me around the building. He is very communicative/responsive via email and phone and pleasant to talk to as a fellow traveller.
Nathan couldn't have been a more accommodating or attentive host, meeting us at the door and answering emails promptly, etc. The apartment was is in a nice quiet building, the street itself is a thoroughfare but at least in the bedroom you can barely hear the traffic. Great place, great host, great neighborhood.
