1 bedroom semi-independent house (cottage, cabin) 100 meters from beach, partially renovated in 2010, all new furniture,TV, A/C. Covered veranda, barbecue, a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Peppinetto is a wonderful one bedroom semi-independent house (cottage, cabin) 100 meters from the beach “Is Traias”, a small cove on the eastern side of town on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
It has an open floor-plan, and on the ground floor is the living/dining area, with a trundle bed, TV, credenza, and table & chairs for meals; upstairs we have a loft bedroom which overlooks the living-dining area, with a double bed, bureau & wardrobe. Below on the lower level is the kitchenette with a stove & small refrigerator; and the bathroom with shower & bidet.
Outside there is a covered veranda with an outdoor table and chairs, a small yard area with a barbecue, plenty of indigenous flora & a view of the sea.
Between the house & the beach is the open-air cafè "Il Cocorito", open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & late-night cocktails & lounge music.
The house was partially renovated in July 2010, with all new furniture, stove, TV, and air conditioning.
The beach Is Traias, in the National Marine Park of Capo Cabonara
Interaction with Guests
I'm always available. I manage several houses, and am happy to help discuss any vacation ideas you have, or enjoy a beer or glass of wine.
Or simply give you the key when you arrive, collect it when you leave, & give you peace & quiet in during your stay...
Close enough to walk into town, far enough away to have peace & quiet - and of course walk to the beach!
Buses connect Cagliari, taxis are available , and in the summer months there is a shuttle between the town center & the large beaches
Other Things to Note
Cape Carbonara is a protected National Marine Park. The beaches are pristine, the waters around the cape transparent, and marine life is abundant - so plan too on some extraordinary snorkeling!
William is very good helpful host.
The location of the house is very good and it took us only 3 minutes by foot to get to the nearest beach. The place is quite and at night it's possible to hear the sea. A neighbouring house has its own path, so it's possible to come in and go out not meeting neighbours. Kitchen has almost everthing for cooking.
Great Little Villa with an amazing view! As we were there off season we pretty much had the local beach to ourselves, and it was still about 30 degrees.
William i s a great host, very friendly and was great to hang out with!
We had a good time in Villetta Peppino!
The apartment is located in a neighborhood near the beaches of Villasimius. A small beach which belongs to the neighborhood is just 200m down the road. The two major beaches of Villasimius are very close also - Great setting for a beach holiday.
The apartment itself is very well kept and in perfect condition. William is a very friendly guy and always available in case of question. He knows the area very well and is always eager to share his knowledge.
I definitely recommend this place.
William nous a accueillis très chaleureusement et a pris le temps de nous informer sur la région et les principales visites à effectuer. La maison est simple mais charmante et idéale pour un couple qui cherche la tranquillité.
Nous recommandons cette adresse sans aucune réserve.
We had an amazing time at Villetta Peppino! The house is cosy, quiet and perfect for a couple! Its really 150m from Is Traias beach and there is a fantastic seaview. Is Traias is a beautiful and nice beach for snorkeling (close to the stones), but eventually there are algae. In the meantime there are beautiful beaches to swim really close to Villeta Peppino, as Punta Molentis.
The host, Willian, is very kind and helpful.
Wonderful stay in William's little house. We didn't want to leave at all ! The location is perfect, near the beach, calm but not far from Villasimius shops and restaurants. The house is pretty, simple, clean, with all you need inside. You can even make a barbecue on the cute terrasse. To wake up seeing the sea is priceless, having breakfast in the early sun is delicious, then you just take a few stairs down and find a small café with nice people, then, a few meters down, you have one of the numerous beaches of the area. Not to crowded, familial, with beautiful water. If you walk a bit through the rocks, you have a lot to see with snorkeling. And if you have a car, it's great to travel all around (not so far) to discover other beaches, from the most crowded to the wildest, virgin looking one.
And finally, our host, William, was very kind. He's in love with the island and will explain to you where to go with good advices. He also offered us a bottle of local wine, stayed to talk a bit about life and travels and was reliable, easy to reach and truly nice.

I've experienced most every sort of difficulty, confusion, misunderstanding, etc., that one generally encounters when traveling in Italy - specifically Sardinia.
I endeavor to act as a bridge / buffer for your holiday, so that the "adventure" of traveling to Italy (Sardinia) isn't overshadowed by inconveniences or surprises!
