Jeannette and her son are awesome！ Though we have different culture, they are responsible. Helpful and respectful. We like them very much! If you want to talk, her son is really easygoing n good at talking！She is absolutely the best host we have ever met! Highly recommend !
I stayed with Jeannette for two weeks to work in the National Archives at College Park and had a very good time. Jeannette was the perfect host and went out of her way to be helpful. The house was very clean, the breakfast excellent and the room I stayed in was comfortable and perfect to work in. I can highly recommend Jeannette’s accommodation to anybody planning a research trip to the National Archives and would be happy to return myself for future research trips.
Jeannette's house is really nice and clean! The room is comfortable, warm, and cozy! Jeannette and her family are very friendly. Jeanette is an awesome host, she picked me up from the Archive II and dropped me there, and even offered me ride to the subway station! And, Darchy is sooooo cute and friendly! This place is a perfect choice for anyone!
Jeanette's home was the perfect place for our visit to Maryland. Our schedule was so busy that this was the perfect location for visiting the University of Maryland and all the great sites in D.C. Jeanette was very respectful of our privacy and we felt very much at home in the pristine suite off of the kitchen. The room has everything that one would need...a great king sized comfy bed, a large flat screen TV, a little refrigerator filled with refreshments, a comfy sitting area and dining area. Even though the bathroom was off of the kitchen, we felt that we had the house to ourselves as we never saw anyone else during our stay which is what we preferred. I feel that Jeanette is a very intuitive person and knew that we wanted privacy. I sense that she would have been there at a moments notice for anything that we might need. This is a very nice and safe place to stay if you're visiting the area. I would definitely return.
Really enjoyed my two days with Jeannette and her family, including their sweet pooch, Darcy. It's just 20 minutes on the Metro from Jeannette's to the National Mall and 30 to Reagan National Airport. My stay was comfortable AND convenient!
I had the most amazing experience with Mrs.Jeannette. Her family was so warm and welcoming. If I had to stay in her area again, I wouldn't dare stay with anyone else :)
Jeannette and her son Douglas were incredibly kind and gracious hosts during my stay. They even drove me to the Prince George Metro station every morning and picked me up in the evening. The room was well furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable, especially after a 3 day train ride across the country. I would not hesitate to book with her again if/when I returned to DC.
Jeanette is a wonderful hostess! She is so thoughtful and accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer! If we go back to the College Park area, we will definitely try to book Jeanette's room again. It was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Darcy is sooo cute! Mary and Kenny
Jeannette was a wonderful host. The room is large and comfortable with all the amenities. Her home is within a 15-minute walk to the National Archives in College Park. She has a cute dog, too, who is very friendly and quiet. If you ever need to work at the National Archives, I highly recommend staying with Jeannette!
