We stayed at this apartment in late July 2015. Rosanna met us at San Stae vaparetto stop. It was great to be met. She gave us fab suggestions to eat and visit. We ate at 3 of these places and they were great. Visiting a local festival in a Campo nearby was a highlight we felt like locals. The apartment was close to Rialto market and bridge. It was very easy for visiting the tourist areas. We bought 3 day passes for the Vaparetto they were excellent value. The apartment was comfortable for our family of 4 It was clean and also food to have a washing machine and dishwasher. Thank you Rosanna for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.
The house was great and even better than expected.
Rosi was fantastic and helped us settle in very well.
She was a great host and had some awesome advice on Venice and great tips for dining and getting around.
We stayed at Regina d'Oriente from July 2-5. We were 5 adults traveling together: 2 married couples and 1 single adult. The apartment met all of our needs and the space was very comfortable to live in. The description is very accurate. One room has 2 single beds that can be put together to make a double bed, the other bedroom has a double bed, and the living room has a sofabed.
The kitchen functioned very well and we felt very much at home. There is a washing machine that we made great use of and a clothesline on the exterior from the building, accessible through the window. We hung our clothes to dry on the outdoor clothesline and we immediately felt like one of the Venetian locals!
Venice was very hot during our stay so the Air Conditioning in the apartment was a well deserved treat after a full day of sightseeing. The air conditioning unit is in the living room but is powerful enough to cool all the rooms of the apartment.
What kicked off our Venetian trip to a positive start was our check in with our host, Laura. We arrived at the main train station, Venice Santa Lucia and took the water ferry bus to station San Stae. From there, our host Laura greeted us at the ferry stop and escorted us to the apartment. Having Laura as an escort proved beneficial as Venice is known for its alleys and endless streets so having a guide there on your first time through was helpful. Once we saw the route once, we remembered it the rest of our trip... We never got lost!
Upon arriving, Laura oriented us to the apartment, provided an overview of Venice and the must see sights and eateries for us to enjoy. Her sister Rosanna was very helpful prior to arrival in all email communications and answered any questions I had.
This is a well run operation and we will definitely be back. The apartment is well located and very accessible. Highly recommend to all!
Lovely apartment convenient to water bus stop and close enough, but not too close, to everything you want to see in Venice. Super helpful. Highly recommend.
We loved our stay at this charming apartment. Our host Rosanna was prompt in her correspondence with us prior to our arrival. As instructed by her, we took a short vaporetto ride from the train station and were met by Laura, Rosanna's sister.
Laura guided us to the apartment, a short walk away. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures - bright, well lit, beautifully done up and spacious for a family of four. There's a museum, a supermarket and a vaporetto stop near by. Laura gave us maps and tips on things to see and do.
Rosanna and Laura even helped us by printing our boarding passes when we couldn't find a place to do so. Thanks for your hospitality. We'll surely stay here on our next visit.
Quel accueil!
