This cottage was everything my husband and I were hoping for. When you pull up, you can hear the waves. Laura had starter supplies of coffee and some snacks available, which was great because we arrived late at night and this helped us get off to a smooth start on the morning. The cottage was clean, quaint, and quiet. We walked down the beach and enjoyed fresh seafood in Saco. It was, overall, a wonderful time and I would love to come back!

The cottage is really historical old. This means there is a certain old time flair but on the other hand we missed bigger Windows and more light inside. Laura prepared everything with love and care. Two deck chairs on the beach are great for morning coffee. On the fotos it was not quite clear to us that the cottage is the small one in the back and not the big one with a terrace in the front. Finally we enjoyed our stay on a beautiful location.

Great location secluded and private but not remote. The beach was beyond amazing! Laura provided a plethora of beach chairs, mats, towels and umbrella (even sun screen). The cottage appears to be colonial in style probably dates to the turn of the century. Very well maintained with period furniture. The kitchen and bath are later additions and are basic but functional. Over all feels like you're stepping back in time. I loved it. The husband declared upon arrival that he is more of a "resort guy" but he eventually loosened up and we had a great time. It is so picturesque and inviting. We took advantage of every outside lounging area... hammock, front yard seating and of course beach seating area. We did not have a bonfire but there was a pit available. The only disadvantage is that the bed is very, very firm (read hard). We have been traveling for about a month now (11 different beds) and this was the least comfortable. If you have the ability to bring along a mattress topper or something I would suggest it.

Our second time staying at Laura's cottage. Everything is as described in the listing. No amenities like wifi, tv etc....the amenities are the charming cottage, the peaceful, safe location, and the beautiful quiet ocean beach. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The original cottage is in a lovely location with direct access to the beach, but it is nestled tightly behind the main cottage. The pictures are accurate although it's best to read the descriptions thoroughly. The kitchen/dining is very small, but clean and functional. The walls and furnishings are original making for quite dark and dated feeling, and the windows don't open on the front screened porch so it gets stuffy inside. We had a really nice stay.

This was a wonderful trip! The home was clean and comfortable, and Laura was very attentive to our questions throughout the weekend. She was quick to respond to text messages and emails. She left a bottle of wine and some snacks, it was all very thoughtful. I would definitely consider coming back some time!
