The space
We are "Kai Vida, Pavones Family Surf Lodging". Strategically located between The Point & Pilon.
This bedroom has a well laid out floor plan. With time, it will look as modern as our other units. We're patiently awaiting our custom furniture, glass windows, and AC.
Please understand that this unit is partially finished / furnished which is why it's well priced. There is no kitchenette, no coffee maker, BUT you do have a fridge. It's simply a bedroom a bath and a fridge at this point. No hot water, no filtered, or drinking water. There is not AC but there are 2 ceiling fans. All windows are screened in as per photos and the front door is metal and secure.
The Space is upstairs and shares the stairway up with our studio unit next door. Everything is clean and newer but we've just ordered the furniture so it's simply a clean place to sleep with an attached bathroom that opens to the bedroom. Note that between this bedroom and the patio deck it will one day be a large living room and kitchen area. Currently it's all concrete. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about this area. It's just big and empty. There is a ceiling fan in the Bedroom and Bathroom. The windows are screened in and the entry door is secure. There are very little pictures, yes there is a queen size mattress that is not shown in these photos. Please ask any specific questions.
With all of that being said, If you've never been to this part of the world or you know you are a traveler that doesn't like to sleep in humidity and likes AC, that's okay. But, this unit may not be a good long term stay for you. The jungle is humid and if you don't have experience living in an indoor/outdoor space, you may not be comfortable. I am being as transparent as possible in order to avoid any negative feedback.
If you're a surfer or traveler that has some experience in any humid location, you're going to LOVE this place. It's Clean, private, and Safe. It's definitely the best value in the area. It has a large private patio. The views of the property from upstairs are awesome. You'll hear the ocean crashing on the beach at night and birds and wildlife throughout the day.

INTERNET DETAILS - We have two separate systems. One is a faster Fiber Optic Hard Wired. The second system is a different company that provides satellite point to point Fiber Optic WIFI which is slower but consistent. We use a solar battery back up system with this company to provide service even when the power goes out. It lasts for more than a few hours. I believe we have the best WIFI system in the area. We understand the need for a quality connection and built our WIFI with the working person in mind.
Usually if my WIFI is down, everybody in the area is down. Also, please know that our WIFI system can still be uncontrollably affected by nature. Power lines and Fiber Optic Cables can get taken down by a tree and the whole area will be down until it's repaired. You are coming to an incredibly raw part of Costa Rica. You're going to love it here.

The entire property is yours to enjoy. It's about 2 acres total. We have fruit trees such as mandarin lime, mango, Plantain, Banana, Guanabana & more as well as many different types of plants. The lot is shared with our other three units on the property.
Other things to note
There is a 24hr respected local property care taker that lives in a small house in front of this house with his wife. Feel safe and secure when you're at the property or out enjoying the area. SOLAR LIGHTS - Please enjoy all of our lights. Feel free to move them and highlight anything you like. They often need some adjustment.
