  • Absolutely LOVED Iain's place. It's perfectly located - you can just about walk to anywhere you'd want to go within the city. The house has everything you need and Iain was a great host - always responded promptly and very helpful.

  • Excellent location, responsive host, and fantastic value for what you get in terms of space and amenities. Also very clean. The place is great for short stays, but for long stays where you would be more likely to take advantage of all the goodies it would be even better.

  • My sisters and I just visited Dublin for the first time. We stayed at Iain's Period Dublin townhouse and were immensely glad that we did. The townhouse was even more beautiful and interesting than in the photos. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was more than enough space for us to spread out and be comfortable. The location was superb, within walking distance of the Brazen Head Pub, the Old Jameson distillery and the neighboring Smithfield restaurants, Guinness Storehouse, Temple Square and many more sites that we didn't have time to visit. Iain was an incredible host, leaving the house ready for us to settle right in, including arranging for his Aunt to meet us as he was away at a conference. He also took care of the parking for our car. Then, when my sister became ill, not only did Iain's aunt help us, but Iain phoned from his conference and went out of his way to contact local clinics and relayed pertinent information to us. I could not recommend Iain and his townhouse more.

  • This was our first time using airbnb and we were extemely happy with the experience. From the first time I was in touch with Iain to book his townhouse and then shortly before arriving, he was quick to respond and concise with any information needed.

We were met and given keys on arrival. The house was just as it looks on line, bright, equipped, well kept and comfortable. We felt as if we were coming home at the end of the day.

it was also very central to the city, easy walking or biking to anywhere you wanted to go including local shops and restaurants.

  • Iain's apartment is amazing. There were three of us staying there and it was spacious, comfortable and extremely tasteful. The location is good - right by the River Liffey, behind The Brazen Head Pub, and near the Airlink bus stop for easy access to/from the Dublin airport. Communication regarding the reservation, etc. was very good. This is a place not to miss if you are planning a trip to Dublin!

  • Thanks Iain for everything. The stay at your house was absolutely wonderful and I salute you for your great taste when it comes not only to the house interior design, but also books, movies and music. I enjoyed every bit of my stay at your place. :)

  • Great place to stay in Dublin! The house was clean and felt like home right away. The master bedroom was extremely comfortable, a bit of noise from the street but we brought ear plugs so it didn't bother us at all. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The house has a cool vibe and four of us stayed comfortably. Best part if definitely the location! We were easily in walking distance to everything and when we preferred a taxi, one was always easily caught right at the corner. The house/city guide that Iain left was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed his picks, especially L Mulligans Grocers. Iain is a great host, always available for questions and accommodating when we missed our connection into Dublin. Great stay, would highly recommend.
