This is a great apartment within easy walking distance of Dublin Centre. Best suited for a couple or family; the en suite is on the 2nd floor, with 2nd bedroom on first but 2nd bathroom on third floors. We were traveling as a family, so it was great that each kid had their own space, but one had to climb 2 flights of stairs to get their bathroom. Street noise is a bit loud, mainly cars on the busy quay. There are a couple of really fun pubs within a 2 min walk, and its an easy 10 min walk to O'Connell St; 15 min or so to Grafton St. Iain is a fantastic host who is quick to respond to inquiries and requests. Was flexible with our check in time (arrived early morning from US) and made us feel very welcome. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, the apartment is clean and comfortable.

Great older apartment with some modern conveniences that is close to the local nightlife. Ian made the trip very easy.

This apartment is designed for young people not mature adults. The location is good but the value is not there for discriminating travelers. I would not return to this area.

Everything about our experience was wonderful! We were greeted and allowed to check in early since our flight came in at noon. All of the various amenities were explained to us and we felt very comfortable. The house was so cute and decorated so nicely - it was extremely clean and comfortable. Even though it was in Dublin, it was still very quiet. The location is great - a few blocks away from everything including the train station and Temple Bar. I highly recommend this place!!

Iain was very helpful from the start - he was very quick to respond, even when we had questions during our stay. We really appreciated that. We enjoyed our stay, and found the top room particularly light, and a good place to relax after a day out. It is a central location within walking distance (10 mins) to various sights. There were two beds (one a sofa bed). The sofa bed was fine for a few nights but you know it is a sofa bed! Unfortunately, there were some renovation works going on next door, which did create some unwanted disturbance (noise and vibrations) during the weekdays (they didn't work at the weekend) I fully understand this is outside of Iain's control (and he did everything right as a host), but felt I ought to mention it so others are aware. Hopefully the works won't continue for long. Overall we had a good stay at Iain's place, and would recommend it to others. Thank you Iain.

This apartment is great, and Iain was a most helpful host. His friend let us in, and even though we arrived an hour early, she was there within 5 min of me calling her. The place itself is so cute, with tons of charm and unique touches. The location was fabulous. Very close walk to all Dublin attractions, but quiet enough as well. There was construction beginning at 7:00 am in the adjacent apartment on Fri am, but thankfully they took Sat off! I'm sure that will be short lived. Thanks, Iain, for a great stay. We would stay again if/when back in Dublin.

We stayed for 5 nights. The house is in a great location for walking into the city centre for shopping and nightlife in Temple Bar. The house itself is really gorgeous - with lots of personal touches that make the house feel like you're staying at a friends. Iain was extremely responsive, very easy to work, flexible with checking in and out and checked on us when we were there. Would highly recommend!
