Easy going, relaxed vibe, perfect location, walking distance from everywhere but not packed with tourist crowds ;-)
A home while you are away from yours.
The appartment is perfectly located: just 10 minutes walk from the city center, 2 minutes walk from Sant Antoni lively (and not touristy) market, 30 seconds from any public transport you may need.
Ah, self-service coffee/tea is included & (of course) you can use the kitchen, balcony, fridge, wifi and the piano keyboard! :-)
See you??? See you!!!
.... If you stay longer than 6 days you will get some discount!!! ;-)

No smoking, except in the balcony :-)
The MOST important rule: Just feel at home, enjoy and relax like at home ;-)
If you keep it more or less as you found it, that would be nice too :-)
During the so-called cold-season, it would be great that you bring some comfortable house-pijama-style shoes, they will keep your feet warm (the floor is cooold) and the rain in the front door.
Feel free to play instruments if you do so, practice yoga, reading or writing if you do so or any other relaxed activity here. There are a couple of sofas and a yoga matress reaally suitable.
Ops, if you are into extreme parties and hard drugs, maybe my place is not the best... ;-)
Ops (2), I do have a tiny cheerfull bird outside in the balcony :-O
We've never had the chance to meet Jesus during our stay but he was able to arrange everything so well that we actually got everything we need to know. He has even made a video to walk his guests through his apartment! Top three reasons why I would recommend it to those looking for a place to stay in Barcelona. First would be its proximity to airport bus bus stop (3mins) and Urgell metro station (2mins). Its also within walking distance to Plaça España and other tourist attractions such as Magic Fountain of Montjuïc and MNAC. Second is the space. Jesus was overseas during our stay so we got the entire place to ourselves. And lastly, the neighborhood. It's in a quiet and safe neighborhood of BCN. We usually finish our trip between 12am - 2am and never got any issues in terms of safety when walking around the area.
Jesus was a great host even though he wasn't at the apartment. He was present by email helping us as much as possible to enjoy Barcelona. The place is really well located and the room is comfortable and clean as well. I could go back there to see Barcelona again!
Jesús was overseas during our visit but he still went out of his way to make us feel welcome with extensive information, advice and maps by email. The place is gorgeous, a really nice home base to return to every night after busy days out exploring Barcelona. It's conveniently located within walking distance of the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla and lots of great restaurants and shops but also quiet inside. We had a lovely time and would stay there again!
I want to say - thank you, Jesus, for your hospitality and for very beautiful vocations in your house. We came to Barcelona for New Year 2015. Family with 2 children - one of them only 4 months old ))) And we really felt us very comfortable in Jesus' flat. He always tried to help us with advices - where and how to go, where we can find NY celebration and so on. The flat is in a very good part of the city - Pl. Spania, Pl. Catalunia, Rambla, the port - everything you can reach by step in 15-20 minutes. Also bus from airport and underground are in 2 minutes from the house. Its very good place for exploring and enjoying Barcelona. Elena - Russia and Germany
Jesús was a wonderful host. He was so thorough in his explanations not only of the apartment and neighborhood but of the city over all as well. He took the time to share some of his recommendations that were off the beaten tourist path as well as a book of poetry he thought I'd enjoy! He's great to chat with and made me feel right at home. Check out his great photography too!
We had a great stay at Jesús's place. The location is excellent, in the city center but just outside the tourist area and right next to both the airport bus stop and the metro. We were three and the room accomodated us perfectly, so would be even bigger for two. We could also use the living room right next to the room, as well as the kitchen, and had breakfast on the rooftop terrace a couple of times. Jesús gave us directions and tips about the city and helped with anything we asked. We also got two keys which was very useful for three people. It felt like a home away from home for a week!
