Welcome to Portland and our wonderful home.
Our Victorian was built in 1896 in the Eliot district of inner NE Portland. Our home is colorful, eclectic and in the best location to get anywhere in the city. Our home is centrally located near venues, shopping and some of the city's best restaurants.
We are: Katey, a designer and artist; Jess, a musician; Janie, a vintage and clothing aficionado; Megan a student studying to be a teacher; and Flower, a very timid black cat.
Katey will be out of town for 10 days and her room & bath are available to rent. (Pictures of the bedroom to come!)
Our home is cozy, artistic and comfortable:
Our cozy living room with pocket doors is decked out velvet sofa, flokati wool love seat, huge vintage chalkboard, tv with some movies, driftwood mobile, record player, plants and treasures we've collected .
The room that is available has 1 east facing window, a kilim rug, wood floors and a desk. A queen bed and it's own private bath with shower make it oh so comfortable. The room has a small fan if it gets warm in the summer and a wall heater for chillier nights. There is another bathroom in the house that is for the other tenants so there is quite a bit of privacy and no need to share. Please note that the rooms is upstairs.
Let us know if you are interested in borrowing one of our many bikes, we may be able to have something available for use. If not, there is a rental shop just down the street!
If you'd like to cook we have a huge kitchen with lots of amenities. Just ask and then clean up when you're done, that's all we ask!
-No pets please, Flower our kitty is very timid.
-Please keep cigarette smoking on the front porch and litter in the appropriate receptacles.
-Please lock the front door behind you when you leave.
We really look forward to having you in our home and will happily share our favorite breakfast spots, bars, venues, and more with you! Maybe there is a concert, or art opening while you are in town, we will let you know!
