**Our Guesthouse is not for everyone please read carefully!**
Steps from the Caribbean! Right on the Melacon, steps away from the Caribbean sea. Walking distance to the beach, shops, bio bay tours, and restaurants.
Guest rooms have private bathrooms, high-speed WiFi and air conditioning.
We are happy to point the way to the best snorkeling or beaches, suggest kayaking or fishing trips, tours of the bioluminescent bay.

Bananas Guesthouse is situated in the heart of the lively and colorful Esperanza, where the culture and spirited atmosphere of the neighborhood truly shines. Because of this, we want to set the expectations accordingly to potential noise level. This is a vibrant neighborhood, please be aware that there may be some noise from surrounding activities, which is beyond our control.
The energy in the area peaks during major holidays and special events, including:
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas
• New Year’s Eve
• Mardi Gras
• Carnival
• Memorial Day Weekend
• Independence Day
• Labor Day Weekend
• Local festivals and parades
Our property is located on a popular street that runs parallel to the waterfront, much like a “main street,” with a steady flow of both foot and vehicle traffic. While this lively environment contributes to the charm and character of the location, we understand that it may not be ideal for everyone. We encourage you to read guest reviews to get a sense of the occasional street noise. The room is just beyond our restaurant Bananas dining area. At times, there will be overflow of potential noise until the restaurant closes in the evening.
For your convenience, we will provide a reminder about potential noise both in our welcome message and once again during check-in.
Please note that cancellations due to noise during your stay will not be eligible for a refund. However, we are happy to assist you in finding alternative accommodations if necessary.
