  • Joyce's apartment was very neat, cozy, warm, and quiet. The scones were a lovely touch! She was also very forthcoming with restaurant recommendations. Highly recommended.

    Response from Joyce:

The apartment was flooded when a pipe burst above the living space.
Remediation will take a few weeks, including replacement of all sheetrock..
So disappointed to displace Stephanie who has stayed with us previously. I
appreciate all her understanding as we dry out and repair. JH

  • Our stay in New Hampshire was so enjoyable thanks to Joyce! The place was very clean, updated and very quiet. My husband admired the carpentry work around the place. The bed was very comfortable. We even enjoyed an evening walk around the neighborhood and the town center. We appreciated Dartmouth souvenirs from our hosts. Thank you very much, highly recommend!

  • Great location right off the town square. Quiet street with the house nestled at the end.

Very clean - super comfy bed - excellent hot water for the shower. Nice linens.

We used this as our base camp during Dartmouth's Homecoming weekend. It was nice to get away from the crowds - plus we ventured out to a number of restaurants in the area that we found on Yelp that were not packed like downtown Hanover.

  • The rental is conveniently located just 5-minute walk away from Lebanon town center and 10 mins driving from Hanover with great restaurants and pubs. We used the apartment as the base for our day-trips to the White Mountains and the Lakes Region and though it is a bit of a drive (about an hour each), it gave us some beautiful scenery along the way. The apartment itself was very cozy and though we had some trouble figuring out how to work the heating / AC panel, the place stayed magically warm regardless of the chilly fall nights. The apartment is very spacious and there is also a washer and dryer in the apartment which comes in very handy! The communication with the host was great both before and during our stay and they offered a very flexible check in / out time which was great! Overall, a great and relaxing stay!

  • Joyce's apartment was really in the perfect location. Nothing is better than the end of a dead end road! The apartment was just as described and pictured. Bed was most comfy! Joyce was very accommodating with a last minute change in our schedule.

The apartment was very quiet. We slept with the windows open a little bit and we could hear Rt 89 to the north a little bit. I am very sensitive to noise while sleeping and even I was not disturbed by this.

We drove out to the Northern Rail Trail near the lake and enjoyed walking there. We also went to Quechee Gorge as she recommends in her description, and that was an incredible natural site to see with very nice walking/hiking paths.

We were in town for a wedding and found the location to be very convenient. We ate at the Salt Hill Pub in town which had a very diverse menu. Beef stew was good!

We highly recommend the Sweet and Neat Apartment!

  • This apartment is located on a quiet street with plenty of privacy. It is charming, clean, and very comfortable. Joyce is a wonderful person, she was very friendly and helpful, she even left us a welcome package which we appreciate very much. My family enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to everyone.

  • Joyce and John's apartment was beautiful and clean when we arrived. They were very gracious and responsive, and have become our choice airbnb when we are back in Lebanon.
