Sedona wine country vacation rental overlooking scenic Lower Oak Creek Valley. Peaceful retreat eight miles south of town. 2-bedroom 2-bath home on historic Page Springs Road. Sleeps 4-6. Six-foot soaking tub. Expansive deck. BBQ. Great views.
The home is fully equipped. Just bring your groceries, settle in, and enjoy a truly special visit to this lovely part of the world. Included in your stay is a complimentary wine-tasting for two (with souvenir wine-glasses) at one of our local wineries.
This spacious, magical vacation home sits high above scenic, historic Page Springs, below ancient Sinagua Indian ruins, looking down on the meandering Oak Creek Valley with its abundant, green cottonwood forest.
The 2.5 acre property is bordered by Coconino National Forest to the south and to the west. They say Page Springs today is "like Sedona used to be, 20 years ago." Sedona is often noisy, traffic-infested and anything but peaceful. But, drive a mere 8 miles and you are in a high-desert paradise, the heart of Sedona's famous wine country, with easy access to Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Jerome (the famous ghost town - think Halloween 365 days a year!) Tuzigoot National Monument, Old Town Cottonwood, prehistoric petroglyph sites, and numerous other natural and historic wonders.
There is a comfortable fold-out couch in the living room, that sleeps two adults for an additional charge. We are sorry but we can not accommodate pets, or children under the age of 10. We provide complimentary wireless internet and long-distance telephone service within the 50 states. Cell phone service can be a little sketchy, especially if you have coverage other than Verizon.
You can learn much more about us, the home, the amenities, and the surrounding area by exploring the website of our former B&B. Search for "Page Springs Bed and Breakfast." You will be staying at the "Upper House." Please do not try to make a reservation on the B&B website. We are no longer in the B&B business, and are now booking strictly through AirBnB.
You will have the entire house to yourselves. Connie and Andrew are writers, public speakers and filmmakers who travel most of the time. The only off-limits areas are the RV, the garage and the locked outdoor storage area in the back.
Interaction with Guests
If we are traveling, you will be greeted by our property manager, Ingrid. She will give you the tour of the house and the property, make sure you have all the information you need, and then leave you in peace and privacy to enjoy your stay. Ingrid lives close by, and is available in the event of any questions or emergencies.
Page Springs is Sedona's best-kept secret. It's convenient to everything, yet has a peaceful, rustic feeling that you will not find in Sedona itself. We are just 1.5 miles from three popular wineries. From the house, you can hike down to the bridge over Oak Creek, and find yourself sitting on the banks an idyllic river, before stopping in at the famous Page Springs Restaurant [now Up The Creek Grill & Bar] for a meal or a libation. For the more adventurous, you can hike into Coconino National Forest directly adjoining our property, climb up to the mesa above, and marvel at the 50-odd Sinagua Indian ruins up there. The view from the mesa is absolutely stunning!
Page Springs Road has recently received a national scenic/historic designation. It leads from Route 89A past our home, directly to the famous local wineries, including Page Springs Cellars, Oak Creek Winery and Javelina Leap Winery, 1.5 miles down the road.
Sedona, with its world-famous Red Rocks and other delights, is an easy ten-minute drive to the north, while picturesque Old Town Cottonwood is ten minutes to the south. If you have never visited a ghost town in the Old West, Jerome, with its 5-star restaurant "The Asylum," lies just 25-minutes to the south of Page Springs. You can even take a day trip to the Grand Canyon or the Hopi Indian reservation. We are truly at the center of a "spiral of wonders!"
We recommend that you have your own transportation, although taxi and airport shuttle services are available. On the other hand, you can easily hike or bicycle down to the Bubbling Ponds birding area, Oak Creek bridge, and the famous Page Springs Restaurant (now re-named "Up The Creek Grill & Bar.") The wineries begin half a mile beyond the bridge, after the Fish Hatcheries.

Everything was fantastic and as described or better. We only see our parents in Arizona one time a year so it is important that the time is well spent and enjoyable and it was all of that. The home was very comfortable and had everything that we needed and more than we expected. We even enjoyed a campfire one evening under the stars. Ingrid was great and took care of anything we needed. We highly recommend staying here.
Our stay at Rancho Feliz was absolutely delightful. Although we did not meet Connie and Andrew, we were in great hands with Ingrid and Thomas. They were both amazing! There was a very difficult snow storm during our arrival time, they were both extremely helpful and communicative in figuring this out and preparing the home for our arrival, going so far as to personally shovel the snow from the extremely long driveway, in the freezing cold. We have never been treated better, than by Ingrid and Thomas.
The property itself was amazing! Peaceful and quiet with epic views from every room. What a charming place. Carmen and were extremely happy with the decision to stay here. What a lovely time we had. Thank you Ingrid and Thomas! :)
We felt completely at home at Rancho Feliz. We are ex-locals, who were home for Thanksgiving with family and were very independent. Ingrid gave us our space, but made sure we knew she was available if we needed her. The home is beautiful and sparkling clean; almost every kitchen tool is in the kitchen. The location is quiet, but close to everything. You have to drive up a steep dirt driveway to the home, which is perched at the top. There are no lights to interfere with viewing the night sky and Rancho Feliz sits within views of the red rocks. As I sat on the porch, mountain bluebirds, woodpeckers and hummingbirds were all foraging and flying about me.
Can't say enough good things about our stay at Rancho Feliz! (website hidden) Maps and Ingrid's directions brought us right to the house and we arrived to find the house lighted and waiting for us with soft music playing inside. The house is a perfect getaway after spending the day in Sedona and/or out on the trails, located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to really relax - whether enjoying the beautiful decor of the house or soaking in the amazing views from the deck. Ingrid is a wonderful property manager and was always just an email or phone call away with anything we needed. We'd highly recommend this property to anyone and we hope to spend time here again on a future visit.
We could not have felt more comfortable or welcome at our stay at Rancho Feliz! The house had everything we wanted, and more. We would head out for our hikes early in the morning and then come "home" to enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the breezy deck. The location suited us perfectly as you are surrounded by nature on top of the hill, with Sedona only a short drive away. We would give this 6 stars if we could!
The house is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with generosity. We enjoyed bbq under the starry night, morning tea in the dawn, hiking outside the house looking at amazing view. Rancho Feliz experience makes you become a poet, isn't it here, heaven meeting the earth? Memory in Sedona and Rancho Feliz left engravings among us that is not erasable. Thank you, Connie, Andrew and Ingrid!
Our stay at Rancho Feliz exceeded our expectations!
We felt immediately at home, thanks to the thoughtfulness of our hosts, Connie & Andrew and Ingrid, the Property Manager. We arrived at sunset. Ingrid had the outside deck lights on. Inside gentle music was playing, a few soft lights, and a welcoming bottle of red wine. What a lovely way to be greeted after a long day of traveling.
Our "home" was immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. The beautiful art work, comfortable furnishings, and spaciousness made it hard to say goodbye.
We had most of our meals on the deck which looks out on gently rolling dessert hills. The wide vistas and quiet was the perfect contrast to a very busy Sedona which is about a 15 minute drive away.
One of the real selling points of Rancho Feliz for us was that it was outside Sedona. After an active day of seeing the sights we found the quiet and solitude to be perfect. It was conducive to unwinding and reflecting on the beauty of the area.
We can't say enough about Ingrid's helpfulness. She was always prompt, friendly, and very thorough. We always felt in good hands.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending Rancho Feliz.
Thank you Dan for your lovely note. We are happy you had a great experience to stay at Rancho Feliz.
Regarding the signage on the road. Yes, I can change the Directions to reflect that. I was looking at a map and it is clearly North Page Springs Rd as opposed to Page Springs Road in Cornville 5 miles from us. Thank you so much, this is very helpful to us.
