  • THanks Nicki, I enjoyed very much my time spent at studio and it helped me to feel at home even if I was so far away. Hope to me you again !

Please come stay with us anytime!

  • What a perfect place! It's well appointed with thoughtful additions I wasn't expecting but really appreciated (hair dryer, beach towels, hot tub, laundry facilities etc.). The owner, Nicki, left a lovely breakfast for us on the first morning that we really enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place.

  • Nicole and Matt's guesthouse is a perfect quiet getaway spot in the hills above Kailua! They were generous and hospitable and take wonderful care of the house and gardens. The studio we stayed in was sweetly decorated, extremely clean, and opened out onto a private deck with a fishpond and waterfall. The first morning's breakfast is a wonderful touch. Thank you for creating such a nice place to relax!

  • Our stay at Nicki's studio was nothing short of amazing. The spacious studio is spotlessly clean, charmingly decorated, and incredibly comfortable (best bed ever!) - and the private koi pond with waterfall out in back made was our own little slice of paradise.

Nicki has thought of everything to make her guests feel at home, from the delicious local Kona breakfast she provides on your first day to the laminated guide to the best hidden beaches that you can take with you when you head out for the day.

We also totally fell in love with her little dog, Foxy, and the donkeys and goats they have on the property. We're already talking about going back to stay with Nicki and Mike again!

  • We stayed with Nicki in the Paniolo Room at the Lilikoi Vine Guest House for 3 nights. The room is a spacious studio with full kitchen, and was charmingly decorated and super-clean. Nikki was very gracious and helpful, but mostly left us alone (as we preferred). Our only complaint was that a family stayed in the upstairs room for two of the nights and their footsteps were quite noisy on the roof above us -- but it sounded like they were a big group with kids, so we probably just had some bad luck. Overall, we had a great stay.

  • This place and the owners are truly exceptional. The studio was paradise- so smartly decorated, gorgeous landscaping, delicious breakfast, and only 10 minutes from town! We utilized a helpful hints guide on suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and exceptional hiking. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone! We felt sad to leave.... Thanks Nicki and Mike!

  • The guest cottage is absolutely exquisite and cozy. Perfect place to relax for a few days. Lovely windows look out onto the back deck and the waterfall, where we had a great time bird watching every morning. The kitchen is fully equipped and comfortable to use. The Lingenfelder's were generous in their knowledge of the area, and letting us use the hot tub, boogie boards, and other equipment. The location is perfect for visiting Kona, Waimea, and Kealakekua Bay. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!

From Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Love working in the hospitality industry. Have 2 vacation rental units in Kaloko Mauka on the Big Island. I work as a massage therapist at the Fairmont Orchid on a seasonal basis. I have a beautiful home treatment room on the facility of the vacation rentals, for guests to use, if desired. We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats and occasionally make chevre cheese. Love Hawaii and the amazing diversity of plant life here! Hope you will love it too!
