BOOKING OPTIONS: There are two thoughtfully designed cabins available to book at Camp KILLERCAT: (1) Tiger’s Den (this listing) and (2) Lion’s Lair. Both cabins are 225-square-foot ÖÖD tiny homes that sleep two people and are identical except for their feline décor and vantage points of Hunter Mountain. Guests are welcome to book one cabin or both cabins, subject to availability. Additionally, we have a 10-person house, KILLERCAT Mountain House, that’s on the property next to the cabins yet separated by dense woods and a tall privacy fence.

You may book:
• One cabin at Camp KILLERCAT for up to two guests
• Both cabins at Camp KILLERCAT for a maximum of four guests
• All three properties (both cabins at Camp KILLERCAT and KILLERCAT Mountain House) for a maximum of 14 guests—and the ultimate KILLERCAT experience!
CAMP PRIVACY: Camp KILLERCAT will feel like a boutique hotel, with privacy at your own cabin (Tiger’s Den)—which includes your private hot tub, hammock, pergola, and fireplace—plus resort-style common areas and shared amenities (all-glass sauna and massive playfield) where you may encounter other guests staying at the property. These shared amenities are accessible by walking paths that are well-lit at night and only available to guests staying at the two Camp KILLERCAT cabins.
And, just like at a boutique hotel, you may also see our staff members if they're preparing the other cabin for new guests, stocking the utility shed and/or maintaining the common grounds. They'll introduce themselves if they see you!
CABIN LOCATION: Tiger’s Den is located at the southwest corner of the property, closer to the main road, while Lion’s Lair sits further away at the northeast corner. The cabins are strategically placed so they don’t overlook one another, enhancing the feeling of privacy and seclusion in the woods.
CABIN EXTERIOR: With three sides of floor-to-ceiling mirrored windows, Tiger’s Den is a design-focused ÖÖD cabin that blends into nature and reflects the wild beauty of the Catskill Mountains. During the day, these one-way windows offer total privacy inside and the most unique reflections outside, painting guests into the wooded landscape itself. At night, the windows become transparent from the outside, blurring the interior into the great outdoors. Tiger’s Den features luxurious velvet drapes for nighttime privacy, which is complemented by large evergreen trees that help further camouflage the cabin. The bathroom windows are coated with protective film to provide privacy during the day and night.
CABIN INTERIOR: While the exterior of Tiger’s Den mirrors the beauty of nature, the inside is a testament to KILLERCAT maximalist design and cozy-chic comfort. With a tiny 225-square-foot interior footprint, the cabin’s floor-to-ceiling windows give this year-round sanctuary an illusionary feeling of space. The open layout includes a queen-size bed with plush mattress, pillows and linens, built-in headboard with end tables and USB chargers, well-equipped kitchenette with dining space, and a customized full bathroom with rain shower and nature views. However, the real showstopper of this majestic cabin is the wallpaper—coveted Gucci tiger face paper on the ceiling, and Phillip Jeffries black lacquered paper on the walls—which creates a signature KILLERCAT vibe.
CABIN DECK: The cabin’s mirrored exterior is enhanced by a private 800-square-foot wraparound deck with unobstructed Hunter Mountain views in colder months and forested reflections in warmer months when the trees are in bloom. Designed for breathtaking sights from every angle, the spacious deck includes a rectangular Nordic hot tub/dipping pool for two, recessed in-deck hammock, Weber propane grill, vintage Salterini and Woodard outdoor furniture, and a clear-roofed pergola with Malm woodburning fireplace for warm, romantic moments in every season. We provide everything you need to keep the fire burning!

Fire up the Huum Hive heater for a rejuvenating sweat, then refresh in the outdoor shower (operational only in warmer months) for the ultimate wellness touch. Cabin guests are invited to book their sauna session via the Huum app.
PLAYFIELD: At the heart of Camp KILLERCAT lies our enormous playfield that’s visible from each cabin yet surrounded by nature on all sides. Whether you’re here to relax, party or play, this field has it all—from a large firepit area, bocce ball court and KILLERCAT cornhole game that sit front and center, to a dedicated yoga deck, all-weather Cornilleau ping pong table, MegaChess set, and double-wide hammocks that are secluded in the woods under twinkle lights. Our field box also includes croquet, pickleball and bowling sets to use on the lawn or bocce ball court for even more competitive fun!
CAMP LOCATION: Camp KILLERCAT is located 1.5 miles from Hunter Mountain Ski Resort on a private road that once featured a 1950s boys’ summer camp. You can see remnants of this camp as you drive up to the cabins (4-wheel drive is required in winter), which are secluded in the woods and immersed in nature. By car, the village of Hunter is less than 5 minutes away, Tannersville is less than 10 minutes and Windham is less than 15—making our location a supreme base for all your adventures in the Great Northern Catskills.
