Key wins- location, parking, location. If you're looking for a homey place to spend a lot of time in- move along. This apartment is basic with all your essentials and perfect for the LA busy body. This was perfect for us as we didn't spend much time there other than sleeping, as there is so much to do LA. The value is unparalleled. Tristan provided very detailed instructions so key exchange was a breeze. Parking is a little tricky- make sure you rent a compact car.

Tristan is certainly the best host we have encountered . She is VERY responsive and considerate of our stay (to say the least). The apartment may be old but very clean and spacious. Parking in the garage is a challenge . We had a rented Sante Fe (smaller suv) and one has to be very good to navigate without hitting the car next to us and the door ( I have to say my husband is really good). So, yes, a compact car is more ideal if you don't have many luggages ( between my husband and I, we had 5 cuz we were traveling 3 countries, so a compact car won't be able to accommodate that). Wifi works well and the bed linens is to die for. The water pressure makes shower a very very pleasant one. Oh, the walls are rather thin and one can hear the neighbors and footsteps BUT thank God, they are rather quiet throughout our stay. Even traffic noise is minimum cuz the bedroom is at the back of the apartment. Location is unbeatable with a grocery store just across the street and shopping is within walking distance ( Beverly Centre , Sax 5th , Nordstrom, Ross, Old Navy, Marshals, Target, CVS, ). Food is also very accessible.
