Beautiful location on Loch Ness. The rooms are new and very nicely appointed and the view off of the balcony was breathtaking. Fiona and John are excellent hosts. The roads were a challenge for a US driver, but the stay was worth the drive.

Staying right on the Loch Ness shore should be temptation enough but add in some of the friendliest hosts you can find and delicious breakfasts you'll want to reorganize your trip to stay longer. John was a wonderful story teller and tour guide. Fiona's cooking was delicious, loved the Scottish breakfasts. After getting engaged on the shoreline in front of John and Fiona's bnb right before leaving, John brought us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate with! Such a loving couple with such an amazing view.

Gorgeous, peaceful setting, and beautiful, comfortable rooms! We loved our stay at Balachladaich, even though it was very short. From our arrival, Fiona and her husband were friendly and helpful. We drove to dinner, but there is a shuttle to the restaurant down the road, and they can make reservations (highly recommend doing so). With our early leave time, they provided us with access to still enjoy a nice breakfast, which was much appreciated. It may seem a bit out of the way, but it's worth the extra minutes drive for the wonderful setting. We would visit again!

Balachladaich was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The hosts are so friendly and hospitable as well as just downright helpful. The views from the bedroom and the eating and living room area are stunning and the room is incredibly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also delicious! We debated staying in another place because Balachladaich was slightly more expensive, but it was absolutely worth every penny.

This is a charming B&B. The property is fabulous- friendly horses and cat, gorgeous views. Our room was very large, and the bed was great. Breakfast was some of the best that we have had on our trip. Fiona and John were absolutely amazing- if you get the chance, you should stay with them!

This b&b was literally a small piece of heaven. The views, the owners, the comfortable beds... We couldn't have asked for more. We had to skip out on breakfast because we had an outrageously early train to catch but the owners simply would not let us go on empty stomachs. They packed us breakfast sandwiches to-go (which were delicious) despite our failure to mention we had to leave early. They were way too sweet and the room was way too lovely, if that's even possible.

Couldn't be happier with the b&b. Location and the view were amazing. Hosts were so friendly with plenty of advice and tips for getting the most out of our days in the Highlands. We would return in a heartbeat!
