The pictures make the apartment look much bigger than it is. For three of us (two of whom are 6'4"), we were somewhat cramped. The apartment is also humid and smells a bit musty. However, it is conveniently located and is an affordable crash pad from which to see Tokyo. The hosts were also very responsive.
This place was great for our party of five. It was nicely decorated, with a cute bedroom with a very comfy bed, a traditional room with three tatami mat beds (a little thin for our kids' tastes), and a large dining area. There seems to be a system of several hosts that make response times very quick. The bathroom left a bit to be desired, as the shower and toilet are all in one room (wet floor, wet socks, noplace to put dry clothes), and yes, we smelled the sewer a few times but it was faint. The only problem we had was with the horrible tourists upstairs, a rowdy bunch of partying American males, who kept us up until 2am shouting, etc. When I informed "Oak" the next morning, he shut it down with the threat of evicting them! It was so quiet after that, thank you Oak! A pleasant stay, close to Roppongi dining, Starbucks, and subways. Would stay again!
Nick has been a great host , clean and neat apartment, located right in the middle of Tokyo Tower , and Ropongii Hill , 15 mins short walk to train station Oedo Line , or Heibya Line . Generally my family and I had a wonderful stay , great kitchen for making breakfast before heading out to explore Tokyo city, check out small street around Ropongi there are lots of nice restaurant to discover .
This is our first time in Japan, and in Tokyo. We needed 2 bedrooms for a party of 5 adults. We found this apartment in Roppongi which had all we needed regarding amenities to fit us comfortably. What was very pleasant was the 2 big tables in the kitchen that good serve many different purposes. the apartment was also very conveniently located, allowing us to go to many different places in main Tokyo. Regarding our hosts, they were incredibly professionnel, very responding, jus perfect. We will certainly rent this place again if and when we come back to Tokyo (what we wish we will be able to do, we love Japan).
We did not meet the host but arrived without problems due to the very clear instructions. There was a file of instructions in the apartment to facilitate our stay.
When we had a wifi problem there was an immediate response and our request for a couple of additional items was also met.
A quiet pleasant neighbourhood and the metro was close by. Nightlife within walking distance as well as convenience stores.
Sadly there are no English TV channels.
We just got back from being in Tokyo for 2 weeks, and this place was great! The place looks like what you see in the pictures. The kitchen is huge, and the overall feeling of the place was very relaxing.
The location is the best. It's so close to 2 different metros, and there are little supermarkets and 7,11's all over the place.
We went as a family, so my kids really loved the park right next to the apartment. Very safe neighbourhood! Aside from the bathroom smelling like sewage sometimes, I would want to stay here again.

Konnichi wa! Hello from Tokyo!!! I love to share with you the beauty of contemporary Japanese culture. Having backpacked around the world I know first hand how it feels to be in a new country and to immerse oneself in a new culture. I'm inspired by those little details that we encounter everyday but often get overlooked in our busy lives in Tokyo from signboards to toy designs to building architecture. I would love to share with you our passion for art, Tokyo street culture, and local cuisine!
