Angels' Keep Bed and Breakfast

Bed & Breakfast - Entire home/apt · Wyoming Ave, Cody, WY 82414, United States

The Space

Wherever your Yellowstone National Park vacation takes you, we invite you to savor the warm hospitality and restful atmosphere offered at Angels' Keep Bed and Breakfast. Our historic 1930's church is located just 4 blocks from Cody's main street of galleries, shops and restaurants. We offer three cozy guest rooms, each with a different theme, to add a touch of comfort to your wild west adventures. Buffalo Bill's historic town has a variety of activities for all ages. A nightly rodeo, a cowboy music review, Old Trail Town, and of course the Buffalo Bill Historical Center (5 museums in a single complex) are among a few of the adventures you might enjoy while you are here. Nightly re-enactment gunfights, horseback riding, amazing fishing, and river float trips are always loads of fun, too.

If you like outdoor activities, you are in great company here; the photos for all of our listings are from hiking trips and scenic drives we've taken in the last couple of years. Would you believe that all the different vistas and critters have been found less than 2 hours away? In fact, most of them are an hour or less! We can help you relax and get away from it all, even if your idea of away is just down the hill behind the house to look for deer, otters, ducks and an occasional pelican along the banks of the Shoshone River.

Since we are located just an hour from the East entrance, and slightly longer from the northeast entrance, Angels' Keep offers easy access and an affordable home base for your Yellowstone National Park treks.

The "whole house" option for up to 6 people includes all three of our guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. Also included are use of all common areas, and our standard bed and breakfast amenities--a full cooked breakfast for everyone in your group, non-alcoholic beverages, fresh baked homemade cookies, etc. It does NOT include kitchen privileges, and guests may not cook in their rooms. Your hosts live on the property. We occupy private living quarters downstairs which are not accessible to guests.

Families with children are welcome, and on a per-case basis, we may be able to host a child or two in addition to the 6 adults. There is a $10.00 per person extra charge for this service.

Reserve your stay today! It's the most fun you've ever had in church!

  • What a treat to come upon Angle's Keep after a long day on the road! Barb and Steve are terrific hosts, and served up great conversation along with some of the best pancakes I've had ever. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom --- complete with a jacuzzi tub --- a real treasure. We will definitely stay with the Kelleys on our next trip through Cody, Wyo.

Barbara was born in Germany and has had the opportunity to travel the world. She's a self taught folk artist with a degree in computer science. She has owned businesses in Virginia, California, Colorado and now here in Cody Wyoming! Robert is a Colorado native with historic ties to the old west. His great, great uncle, Charles Varnum was Custer's Chief of Scouts who fought in the Battle of the Little Big Horn and lived to tell the story. His great grandmother, Blanche Stinger, was one of the first pioneer children born in Wyoming. His father's family homesteaded in Eastern Colorado and Wyoming. We have been married since 1980 and have lived in Cody since 2001. In addition to working in our retail gift business and Angels' Keep Bed & Breakfast, we can often be seen mountain biking, hiking, or touring our little corner of the world, from Yellowstone National Park to the the beautiful Bighorn National Recreation Area. You are invited to bring along your hiking gear, road bikes or mountain bikes and join us on any of our adventures. Our newest outdoor hobby is geocaching, a high tech version of treasure hunting. Whether you choose to stay a night, or stay a lifetime, you are sure to enjoy the western hospitality offered by your hosts and the entire community!
