You have a supermarket, ATMs, Starbucks, boutiques, and lots of dining options located in the Izumi Garden complex which is only a 3 minute walk from the apartment.

The National Art Center which is a massive venue with changing art exhibitions is a 14 minute walk away. They have exhibitions of local artists with many interesting and unique pieces from all over Japan. Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Excellent choice and value for Tokyo. The flat is very comfortable, quiet, and charming. Location is superb- close to several subway lines for easy access to anywhere, and easy walk to many restaurants, bars and other stuff in Roppongi. Check in and out were smooth and hassle-free, and the hosts went out of their way to help with travel logistics of our trip beyond Tokyo. Highly recommended, would definitely book again.

  • The apartment was great! Spacious room, comfy bed, the kitchen was big enough for four of us to have a gathering. And best of all the apartment has a great view of Tokyo Tower! Definitely will consider the apartment again when I'm in Tokyo.

  • Apartment was great and host was very easy to work with! Would definitely go back.

  • It was a great experience. In the beginning we had some lillte problems that Kazuko and Nick quickly fix and I am very grateful to them. I can say that we will miss this apartment and our stay in Tokyo. I wish to Kazuko and Nick all the best!

  • For 4 people in the heart of Tokyo, this place was perfect. Very close to the subway stations and Roppongi Hills for all the action. You miss out on the high tech Japanese toilet, but the tatami room gives you a good japanese feeling. We did not use the laundry machine or the kitchen, but having them available was nice. The space was good and comfortable and became our home away from home very quickly.
The hosts were very good with communications and questions, and having the mobile WiFi was extremely helpful.

Overall a very pleasant stay and we would certainly stay here again.

  • Excellent location, very close to Roppongi itchome station and Roppongi. Cosy traditional style housing that fits 6 people reasonably well. Nick's quick responses and Wi-fi were very helpful.

    February 2014
  • Stayed here for 3 nights with 3 people, location was great a 3min walk to roppongi itchome station and 10min walk to the roppongi strip. The bed was super comfy and the hosts were very prompt when I had any questions. The only problem we had was with the washing machine the water flowed out onto the balcony which created a bit of a mess. Also the apartment was smaller than I imagined.

  • Very good location, really easy TO Check in Check out. We were 5 and it was perfectly ok. Beds and futons were confortable. However équipment was quite old (bathroom, kitchen) and not always sufficient (only 5 plates etc.). Not confortable from à western point of view but for one week it was really ok and affordable.

  • Wonderful place, very cozy, and so walkable to the nightlife of Roppongi. Would definitely stay again. Very traditional space, comfy, and pretty spacious, We rented a few apartments at once for a big group of us that were visiting Tokyo.

It can be a little hard to find on first visit, so be sure to print out a (website hidden) map first.

  • Nick's apartment is very conveniently located. 3 min from Roponggi Itchome subway as described. One will appreciate the convenience after lots of walking touring around Tokyo. The 2 rooms are good size for up to 6 guest, while had great tokyo tower view right outside the apartment! The mobile wi fi is really fast and useful to search for good restaurant too when travels.
However, I do have a few suggestion for improvement. The shelves and shoe cabinet is a bit old and could be repair/repainted. While there is only 1 electrical socket point in the living area, which is inconvenient when need to connect to kettle, microwaves or heater during freezing winter. While a washing machine and dryer will be welcome by long staying guest with limited change of clothing.
In summary, I would still recommend this apartment for travellers to Tokyo based on the price changed.

Konnichi wa! Hello from Tokyo!!! I love to share with you the beauty of contemporary Japanese culture. Having backpacked around the world I know first hand how it feels to be in a new country and to immerse oneself in a new culture. I'm inspired by those little details that we encounter everyday but often get overlooked in our busy lives in Tokyo from signboards to toy designs to building architecture. I would love to share with you our passion for art, Tokyo street culture, and local cuisine!
