Interaction with Guests
We will meet you at the property to provide you with keys and show you around. We can offer you some of our favourite places to eat and visit and we can answer any questions you may have about the accommodation or the city. We are just a phone call away if you do need anything or have any further questions once you settle in. We will provide you with a welcome pack which will cover how to work things and where things are in the house as well as some local information.
Brompton is a delightful neighbourhood steepd in a unique history with the old Gas works and the once very popular Rowley Park race track. The 'old' Clipsal site is being developed and most of the industrial sites have been cleared to make way for high demand city fringe dwellings (and boy are they popping up!) The Gov (located on Port Rd) is a great venue for bands and it is the only Pub in Adelaide with no pokies (yahh!). The entertainment centre is short walk and there is already many great restaurants/shops along Port Rd which is continuing to grow and gain popularity as a main strip.
Easy! Walk up Chief st in either direction and you get train and bus stops. Left from Second St onto Chief brings you to Hawker St bus stop. Right onto Chief St from Second St and you hit Port Rd trains/trams heading to the city or to Port Adelaide (soon hopefully) and Glenelg.
Other Things to Note
The Brompton Hotel is a very short walk. Just turn left out of the Mews and walk one block along until you reach Pickering st to your left. At the end is The Brompton Hotel. Cold beer and a great pub meal!
Plleeaase! no smoking inside. We have applied a $60 cleaning fee for general cleaning on departure such as vacuuming, dusting, clean of kitchen and bathroom and minimal dishes. Malicious and unacceptable mess and/or property damage will be followed up and we will seek payment for any of these incidences. We want our guests to enjoy our place as much as we do when we stay, have a great time and show respect for our property and the things we have in it for you to enjoy. Sorry no pets.
