The space
We are "Kai Vida, Pavones Family Surf Lodging". Strategically located between The Point & Pilon.
This listing consists of two separate spaces on the 2nd floor above our condos. NOTE, Sept 2026 Pictures have not yet been updated:

The first is a studio with a well laid out open concept floor plan. There's a lot of living space. It has a kitchenette, hot and filtered water, AC, a TV, and computer screen. 1 king bed, 1 twin bed and a large attached bathroom.
The second space is a queen bed, attached bathroom and opens to an open air living area with an indoor / outdoor kitchen area. It also has all the kitchen basics including filtered and hot water throughout and a large patio area. The bedroom does have AC.
The doors are maybe 50 steps from eachother and right next door. Nobody else shares upstairs with you. These units are both very comfortable
You're going to LOVE this place. It's big and clean! It's private and Safe. It's definitely the best value in the area. It has everything you need to live for a short term or long term stay. The views of the property from upstairs are awesome. You'll hear the ocean crashing on the beach at night and birds and wildlife throughout the day.

INTERNET DETAILS - We have two separate systems. One is a faster Fiber Optic Hard Wired. The second system is a different company that provides satellite point to point Fiber Optic WIFI which is slower but consistent. We use a solar battery back up system with this company to provide service even when the power goes out. It lasts for more than a few hours. I believe we have the best WIFI system in the area. We understand the need for a quality connection and built our WIFI with the working person in mind.
Usually if my WIFI is down, everybody in the area is down. Also, please know that our WIFI system can still be uncontrollably affected by nature. Power lines and Fiber Optic Cables can get taken down by a tree and the whole area will be down until it's repaired. You are coming to an incredibly raw part of Costa Rica. You're going to love it here.
NOTE: If you need any cookware or household items, simply let me know. I'll approve and I will reimburse you right away. Maybe some glass dishes are broken or the past guest burned a pan, or left silverware at the beach and now you're low on utensils. Unfortunately, doing kitchenware inventory between guests isn't always possible. Let me know, you can buy what you need at the local stores and leave it here for the next guest. I will reimburse you. We aim to give you the best possible experience.

The entire property is yours to enjoy. It's about 1 acre. We have fruit trees such as mandarin lime, mango, Plantain, Banana, Guanabana & more as well as many different types of plants. The lot is shared with our other four units on the property.
Other things to note
There is a 24hr respected local property care taker that lives in a small house in front of this house with his wife. Feel safe and secure when you're at the property or out enjoying the area.
