The Green Chalet is an amazing location for groups of bikers, skiers, hikers, and campers. The building is a modest two-story chalet-style house with outdoor space for RV/tent camping and bonfires.

Inside, the space is cozy and comfortable, perfect for biker/skier/snowboarder groups, families, and parties. ALL ARE WELCOME, very 420-friendly and dog-friendly

Amazing location, less than 10km/5mi to: Kingdom Trails at Darling Hill, Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails East Burke & Mike's Tiki Bar

The space
The ground floor includes three bedrooms -- two have two single beds, the third has a bunk bed and a queen bed -- one bathroom, a laundry room, and a small common area.

The second floor has a master bedroom with an attached bathroom. There is a large common area with a wood-stove in the center of the room, two large couches, and an open dining room and small kitchen area.

Walk through the floor-to-ceiling windows on the second floor living room and you're on the porch, staring at Burke Mountain, less than 10km/5mi away. If you're here to mountain bike, you're less than ten minutes from the Kingdom Trail Centers at either Darling Hill or Mike's Tiki Bar.

There is laundry, bike-wash (hose) and WiFi on-site.

Guest access
While renting the Green Chalet, you'll have full run of the space, including indoor bike storage in the garage. There's plenty of room outside for 2-3 RV/vans, as well as tent-camping, but there are presently no external power or water hook-ups.

Other things to note
The location is 420-friendly and will have CBD hemp plants growing in the backyard during your stay. We will be happy to share our CBD hemp and THC marijuana with visitors, we just ask you not to damage the cannabis or the tea plants growing outside!

Location

Burke, Vermont, United States

There are other houses within sight, but the location is still relatively private and usually quiet; there are a TON of deer nearby, so be cautious when driving at dusk and dawn

I'm 31 years old and now living back in my hometown in Winooski, Vermont - a small city that's essentially a neighborhood of Burlington. I'm a native Vermonter and having spent several years in tourism and hospitality and love to give advice about fun local attractions and suggestions for making the most of your travels here. I'm a cannabis advocate and am a co-founder of Heady Vermont ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) an independent media outlet and network. As a guest, I'm appreciative and happy to help out with any/all kinds of chores--as a host, I love to connect with people, but mostly prefer to give guests the space to enjoy their own personal adventure in our space! I've been fortunate to travel all over the world--France (twice), Canada, China, Turkey, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, and Jamaica--and spent five years working in international relations. I still speak French (albeit, rusty) and a little Mandarin, and have spent over a decade in hospitality, love to cook and bartend.
