The Space

My apartment is 120m2 with a wonderful sea view. It has a one large living room and dining room as well as 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedroom has a double bed. And the third one as one bed which turn into a double bed, if needed. The apartment is located in Cihangir which is the new heart of İstanbul. It's walking distance to metro and the sea bus. There are plenty of cafe's and bars around open till 2 AM. Old city is not far as well. Also the old city is 15 minutes with tram. Also luxurious shopping centers and places are close. So far, my guests who stayed in my house enjoyed their time here. They were very happy with the location as well as the decoration and the services. Also I pay great attention for their happiness. Just for you information: PLEASE KINDLY BE NOTED THAT I ORGANISE THE ROOMS ACCORDING THE GUESTS. SO YOU'LL GET ROOMS ACCORDING TO YOU&YOUR COMPANY... SHORTLY YOU'LL GET THE WHOLE APPARTMENT BUT SOME OF THE ROOMS MAY BE KEPT LOCKED FOR MY PERSONAL STUFF.

  • Great location, many pleasant bars and restaurants around. Very conveniently located to enjoy the city life and to go to the touristic sights.
The apartment is as seen on the pictures: spacious, densely decorated, with two large and comfortable bedrooms and small third bedroom with an ok single bed. It's an old building: you may hear the neighbors, and they will hear you as well. They tend to complain easily (if you walk too heavily on the wooden floors for instance). So be prepared to be mindful of noise, and it will be alright.
Ebru has been a very pleasant, helpful and accommodating host.
    I would certainly come again!

  • The apartment is well-situated as noted in several other reviews. It's on a fairly quiet street and close to Taksim square, the metro line, and many shops, bars, and restaurants. The location is generally central and makes most of Istanbul readily accessible. It also doesn't feel like a predominantly touristy part of town, providing a more "real" experience and feel of life in the city.
Ebru was very easy to get in touch with and maintained good communication prior to and throughout our stay.
The apartment is spacious and clean. However, it's Ebru's own place, so it's full of personal items which makes it feel more homey but also leaves less room for your own belongings. Despite some minor "aging infrastructure" challenges, the apartment met our (6 guests) needs well and we'd recommend the place to other travelers.

  • Our stay at Ebru's apartment--I was traveling with another male friend, and we used two bedrooms--was enjoyable in every way. Ebru was terrifically helpful, intelligent and insightful, attentive, and charming. She guided our taxi driver in from the airport to her apt. by phone; cheerfully and efficiently explained the apartment's details and "house rules"; phoned a few times during our week there to make sure things were OK; and hosted us for a lovely breakfast the morning we left. The apartment met our needs fully, and it is in an exceptionally atttarctive part of town: Cihangir feels like SoHo in the 70s, bustling with cafes, interesting shops, nightlife (but not oppressive nightlife), and energy. The apartment was as advertised, and Ebru could not have (email hidden). A wonderful experience.

  • We are a French family of 5 and have stayed for 6 nights in Ebru's appartment: it was just great! the appartment is spacious, very clean and charming, you feel instantly at home. Ebru has (email hidden), always available for any kind of advice by phone or text. The neighbourhood is perfect, convienently located with plenty of restaurants around, I wish we could stay longer to explore it more thoroughly... There are so many things to do in Istanbul!
    Great stay, great place indeed!

  • Our Istanbul trip was just great. The apartment is located in a super cool area "the soho of Istanbul" and we had great fun staying there.
Lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was clean and very cozy. Ebru, our host was very kind. She provided us with lots of useful information, great tips on restaurants, insider places, hamam and so on. We would love to come back soon.

  • Everything that has already been said about Ebrus place is true. For us it was one of the best things of our stay in Istanbul. After a long day out sightseeing it was a relief to come „home“ to unwind and relax in the spacious and very cosy living room area. We were 3 couples staying there and as Ebru had warned us, one of the rooms is quite small, the bed was very confortable though, so for us it was no problem. 2 supermarkets and lots of cool cafes are just around the corner. Down the hill by the water, 10 min walk from Ebrus place, the Istanbul Modern is a great way to get a glimpse of contemporary Turkish art.

  • My friends and I stayed at Ebru's apartment for 4 nights and I have to say the apartment is so lovely and Ebru is a very nice host. I asked lots of questions about the local information and Ebru was so helpful and thoughtful, she provided lots of detailed information to us which is very useful. The apartment is on a hill with seaview in the livingroom, rooms are clean and cosy. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby so it's very convenient if you want to buy some food and cook meals at home. Location is good, 10 mins walk to the tram stop and 10mins on the tram to the old town. I would recommend this apartment to everyone and you gonna love it.

  • Ebru (email hidden)! She was really great to communicate with, answered all questions and gave us all possible directions, even prepared "what-to-do" and "where-to-eat" list:)))
The apartment is sweet and cozy with a great amount of charming angels! It was clean and well organized. The living area is spacious enough and suitable for 4 even 5 person. And we even had a New Year's tree there;)) Wi-fi wasn't very fast. The kitchen was stocked with all basic dishes. And you have everything you need in the apartment, except iron, cos it was broken some days before our arrival. But I suppose that now everything is OK with it:))
There are a lot of great restaurants, cafes and bars nearby.
So if you want to visit Istanbul then Ebru is the best host and her apartment is the perfect place to stay in!

  • The flat was really lovely and cosy. The location is good and there are many restaurants downstairs or within walking distance. The nearest tram station is about 10 mins by waling.
Ebru was really nice to us and gave us many information about local area and Istanbul sights. We had a great time there!
