Interaction with guests
One of us always greet the guests and offer them a tea or coffee with a little treat. There are tea and coffee making facilities in both rooms. We give guests advice on the area if they wish. We serve breakfast and usually have a little chat. Unless guests like to chat more we leave them in peace to enjoy their stay as we have our own separate staircase and living room.
Other things to note
It is not suitable for persons with severe walking difficulties.
We expect guests to treat the house as they would their own home and be aware that there may be other guests staying.

I am a retired teacher who now runs a b and b in a historic house in Cumbria. David , my husband works part time as an engineer and also works in the b and b. We moved back to the Eden Valley after 30 years in St Bees, West Cumbria. We were both brought up in this area and are getting to know it again. We love travelling, particularly to Europe and the mountains but love cities too.We have 4 grown up children and one grandchild.
