Interaction with Guests
Interaction with guests is completely at your discretion. I've lived in Charlottesville for 30 years, so am happy to answer any questions and offer local tourist advice, or I can stay out of the way. I always sleep elsewhere so guests can have privacy of the whole house. Occasionally, I stay in my Lionel Train hobby house in the back yard, but your privacy in the house is assured.

A cute home and a welcoming host. It was perfect for our Charlottesville weekend.
The whole experience was as easy as could be! Everything was just as described and he was prompt to return any questions. He has a lovely home and we were all very comfortable. Thank you David!
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at David's comfy home. David met me upon arrival and chatted a few moments before leaving. He explained a few things about his home and gave me great directions to a place where I was going to meet my son. The house is charming and the beds were super comfortable. David left eggs, bread and coffee for us for breakfast~a very nice touch! We hope to stay here again next year when we come back. Thanks, David!
We had a really good time at David's house. It was homey and cozy, and the homemade granola was delicious. The neighborhood isn't the nicest, but felt safe, and it's close to the Downtown Mall and other sights. Our 2 year old loved the toys and watering the backyard. David was also very flexible about when to check in and out - thank you, David!
Everything about this place was great. The house is beautiful, comfortable and very home-y. Even though David wasn't there, his communications made us feel very welcome. The neighbourhood is peaceful and quiet. All was just as described and the trip was totally stress free.
David kept in good touch with us prior to our arrival and all was ready for us when we arrived. There were so many extras, we weren't sure if we were meant to partake in them all.
Had a great experience staying At David's house. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again. The house is beautifully, cozy and clean.
