This was a great place to have as headquarters - everything we needed to get ready for each day in the park. We didn't spend much time "at home" but it would have been so easy to sit out front and enjoy those beautiful views all day! We loved the area and enjoyed the drive in to Yellowstone - very picturesque the whole way. Bonnie was a great host!

Bonnie is the consummate host who is very pleasant and very knowledgeable about the Cody area and Yellowstone park. She really made us feel at home and all her advice was spot on, from the suggestions on places to eat in Cody and nearer her place, to the best approach to seeing Yellowstone. Top that off with a cozy, homey, private place with an amazing view and her wonderful dog Jessie and you have the ideal vacation spot. Well worth the trip and definitely worth a return visit.

Bonnie's place is cozy and clean, with amazing views. Bonnie herself is super friendly and will help you plan activities if you're visiting Yellowstone or just passing through. Her Dog Jesse is her constant companion and is also friendly. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay!

Bonnie's apt has a breathtaking view and is very conveniently located only a few miles from the East Entrance of Yellowstone. She was very helpful in guiding us to the best spots to see the wonders of Yellowstone. Our stay was very comfortable.

This is a great spot! Bonnie is a veteran host and it shows from the cleanliness of her place to the thought she has given to the details; nice linens, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable fold out. Her place is close to the main road and about 30 minutes from Cody or the East Gate of Yellowstone. So you will be about an hour from the Fishing Bridge / Lake area in Yellowstone. Judging from the long lines and congestion at the West Gate we saw today I was glad to enter from the East. The drive down the canyon is beautiful and the area offers some activities. She recommended the trail ride at Pahaska Lodge and we booked a same day two hour ride that was moderately challenging and ended up being private. The unit is very large with beautiful canyon views. Experiences like staying with Bonnie are why I like airbnb.

This was our first airbnb experience but I have a hard time believing that others will compare to the stay we had with Bonnie. Her hospitality barely, just barely rivals the magnificent views from her property. It's as quaint as you'd expect a cabin retreat to be, leaving nothing to be desired - and still cozy enough to welcome you. Take the time to make morning coffee and sit on the picnic table and just relax while taking in the mountain views. There's plenty of things to see in the area and her cabin offers travelers a nice retreat from Yellowstone, Cody's nearby rodeo, fishing, etc. Thanks again Bonnie - if we ever head your way again we'll definitely be in touch!

Bonnie User ProfileBonnie is a superhost.

As a fellow traveler, I appreciate lovely, reasonably priced, non-commercial places to stay where your experience is enhanced by a hospitable host to help you find your way around and/or by good advice from a community like airbnb guests and hosts. Being shy to talk with complete strangers while traveling, the personal touch of airbnb communication makes all the difference for me. I love fresh, well-prepared food, wide open spaces, unexpected adventures. As a social policy junkie, I'm intrigued and open to hearing what others think about the world we share.
