We were extremely pleased and glad that we got a chance to meet Bonnie and to stay at her wonderful house. The place looks better than the photos. The house is beautiful, cosy and very homely. The view was simply fantastic. You really have to be there to appreciate it. The decor was very nice and bed was very comfortable and warm too. We had everything we needed. The location of her place is excellent. The east entrance is about 30mins from her place and the drive in was actually very scenic. We even spotted Grizzly bears, deers and goats on the drive out. Cody town is about 25mins away and is a nice rustic place to explore on its own. You can buy your groceries and souveniers there conveniently. There are many restaurants there including a Japanese restaurant. Bonnie was very warm, welcoming and approachable. She made us feel very comfortable and it felt like returning home rather than a house. She was there to greet us in the morning and when we come back from the day out, with her big warm smile as usual. It felt more like meeting a good old friend rather than a host. Jesse (her Australian Sheepdog) must have taken after his owner and is so friendly and lovable. He is a beaut and his coat is so well groomed. We would love to cuddle him everyday if we were given the opportunity. This is the perfect AirBnb experience for us. The only regret we have was not having chosen to stay longer. We really hope to stay with her again in future and definitely for a much longer period. Thank you Bonnie so much for your warm hospitality. Big hugs!!!

Our stay at Bonnie's was AMAZING. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Bonnie was friendly, helpful, and provided plenty of useful information about seeing Yellowstone and Cody. She even offered bearspray to use on our hikes. We highly recommend staying here. We could not have had a better stay!

Bonnie was always concerned about our comfort and checked in with us often. She loaned us bear spray to carry and a stadium seat for the Rodeo. We tried almost every recommendation Bonnie gave us on Yellowstone, the Rodeo and Museums in Cody, swimming in the big state park reservoir, eating at the local beef and booze and of course our first horseback riding adventure. We will miss her place. It was the anchor of our trip and we only scratched the surface of things to see and do in the area. Bonnie's place is an entire walkout basement. Space will not be your problem, there's lots of it. The queen bed was very comfortable. The kitchen counter space was more than substantial. It was odd to have the full sized fridge out in the "workroom" but it worked out. We were able to cook on the electric fry pan after we figured out it seemed to have two heat settings - high and off. The house is on well water, but coming from a metered water use home, this was not an issue. I must say that it was the best tasting water anywhere. We should have taken a few gallons with us as water we later drank on the rest of our trip was nasty in comparison. The house is located one mile, up a hill, on a dirt road, from the main highway. Driving my 4 cyl, gutless, manual transmission, sedan up the hill was a patient experience. The drive into and out of Yellowstone was long, especially on day 4. However, the Sylvan Lake Pass route was more spectacular than any drive in the park. It was a treat to drive it in different directions and lighting. Just be prepared to downshift for miles as the drop is long and substantial.

Bonnie's place is cozy and the views are amazing, very clean and homely. Bonnie herself is one of the friendliest and most interesting people I have met, and my favorite host so far! We even went on an amazing horseback ride through the canyon nearby, brilliant experience!

A lovely place with a magnificent view. Bonnie made us feel at home. A great place to visit Yellowstone, though it's a rather long drive. About half an hour tot the entrance, and then half an hour to the fishing bridge. Diner at the Trial house was a very good suggestion of Bonnie. We could also use her BBQ and sit on her deck when she was away. Bonnie also has a lovely dog. I didn't dare to say i'am allergic to dogs......

Bonnie User ProfileBonnie is a superhost.

As a fellow traveler, I appreciate lovely, reasonably priced, non-commercial places to stay where your experience is enhanced by a hospitable host to help you find your way around and/or by good advice from a community like airbnb guests and hosts. Being shy to talk with complete strangers while traveling, the personal touch of airbnb communication makes all the difference for me. I love fresh, well-prepared food, wide open spaces, unexpected adventures. As a social policy junkie, I'm intrigued and open to hearing what others think about the world we share.
