Interaction with guests
I like to make sure that the guest is settled and comfortable. Then it's up to the guest. I like to give them privacy, but I am available when needed.
Mu husband and I live next door to the cottage and we love being able to walk to fabulous restaurants and unique house museums. Savannah is a walker's paradise. The squares of Savannah are green and beautiful, with incredible live oak trees and landscaping. Although we are close to the action, our block is a quiet residential section. Visually stunning, Savannah is always surprising us, even after 40 years!
Bus stop one block away, although you can easily walk to all the best that Savannah has to offer. Bicycling is also a great option.
Other things to note
We are steps away from venues for the Savannah Music Festival, Savannah Film Festival, Rock 'n Roll Marathon, and .3 mile from River Street.
Because Laura's Cottage is an irreplaceable treasure, treat it as you would your own home. It has lasted for over 200 years and you will be a part of its history.
