We live within walking distance of the center of town and a short drive or bike ride from Kripalu and Tanglewood. Major ski resorts are within driving distance.
Our house is lovely, quiet, and comfortable. Paul is an Architect, Jackie is an Argentine Tango Instructor, and Wegian is a dog.
We have 3 rooms available. They share two bathrooms. Our rooms are comfortable and well decorated. WiFi is high speed.
Guests have access to the living room, back deck, garden and kitchen. They may cook if they want. Just clean up afterwards and remove all items from the refrigerator before checking out.
Interaction with Guests
We tend to be very busy with Tango and travel so we generally do not interact much with guests. Probably the most interaction in general occurs in the kitchen or outside on the deck.
We love our garden and the town of Lenox and its surroundings are beautiful. Our neighborhood is quiet yet close to the town center. Stockbridge, Pittsfield, and Great Barrington are all within a 20 minute drive. Kripalu is just a short drive or a bike ride from our house.

My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip to the Berkshires from NYC. We stayed in one of Jackie's private rooms and felt right at home. All amenities were provided as mentioned in the ad (WiFi, fully equipped kitchen, close proximity to nearby towns, private bedroom, bathroom and friendly habitants). Jackie and her husband gave us a warm welcome and made it very easy for us to come/go as we pleased. We hope to return soon and maybe even meet their 4 legged friend, Wegian.
I had a great and calm time in this lovely room to rest before my intensive course at the yoga school of Kripalu very close to Lenox. My stay was short, but definitely felt home and warmly welcomed by Jackie.
We stayed with Jackie, Paul and their adorable dog Wegian for a 3 night stay in October. What can I say? Their house is amazing. Beautiful room, extremely comfortable and very clean. Jackie and Paul are super hosts. Very easy to get along with, talk to and they make you feel extremely welcome in their house. The house is in a super location. You can walk to Lenox in less than 5 minutes and it's so close to everything else you want to see in The Berkshires. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the area.
Beautiful, inviting, and extremely clean home. My room felt cozy and private, and the house was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed to make all my meals. Jackie and her husband were really kind and accommodating. Great experience!

Paul and I just turned 60 and we are starting to compile our bucket list. Of course one item is travel and we hope to use airbnb soon. Meanwhile we have a large home with many rooms which are vacant because our children have left the nest.
We are very busy with Argentine Tango and our new grandchildren so we tend to be out a lot. Also our son is a chef so we visit his restaurant often.
Argentine Tango is our passion. We teach in Northampton MA, Lenox, and Hartford CT. Going to the beach is another favorite pastime and we tend to avoid touristy hotels and areas. Cancun is not for us.
We are both avid readers and our favorite radio shows are Radiolab and Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR. I am a sci fi/fantasy addict and would love to find more time to play Dungeons and Dragons. Yes, I am 60 years young.
The other member of our household is Wegian (a Norwegian Elkhound). He is lovable and people fall in love with him instantly.
Both my husband and I feel that happiness is having gratitude for the things in your life. We also believe that the examined life is a life of growth as long as you don't become too critical. Also we celebrate diversity. How could we not with the kind of extended family we have. It's all good. :-)
