Imagine having an indipendent nice little house all for you. Bedroom, kitchen, lounge, bathroom. Imagine walking out and finding yourself in country like environment ... and you are only one bus ride and 30 minutes away from the city centre.

The house is detached from our big villa. It has its own private entrance. It is within a large garden. It's fully furnished with private bathroom complete with shower and french bidet. There is a brand new kitchen fully equipped and a lounge where you can enjoy dinner or a lunch in the sun just outside in the garden. It is an area of Roma full of "liberty" style villas, and is well connected to the turist centre.

A really unusual place in Rome. You are only 30 - 40 minutes away fron the city centre, and, at the same time, you have your own room with an indipendent entrance from our main house. When the weather is good you can enjoy your breckfast in our private garden.
You can enjoy tea or coffee as soon as you wake up ...... there is a boiler and a coffee machine and we provide tea and coffee.
In a little frige you will find complimentary cold drinks.
Bed linen and towels, pillows and duvet, shampoo, shower gel, handwash, hairdryer are provided.
With our house you share only the main entrance to the garden. Therefore you have full privacy during your stay.

You have free access to all parts of the garden and if you so wish you can have your meals outside in the garden. You will have the keys to the garden entrance and to the guest house, so you have no problem in coming back any time of the day or night.
If you come by car there is plenty of free parking space nearby.

I and my partner believe that guest are mainly interested in visiting the city of Rome. However we are quite happy to share a meal or a drink in the garden, to give you advise on what to see and where to go .. to help you in any way you may need.

This area of Rome is known as "la citta giardino" which means the "garden city". This is so because is full of villas (not huge ugly buildings) surronded by gardens.
There are 2 buses going to the centre. The journey is about 30 - 40 minutes depending on the traffic. The cost is € 1,50. Daily and weekly tickets are available.

There are parks, nice restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. During the warm season April - October there are plenty of bars and pubs which serve food and drinks outside in the green. And in the winter, should you be lucky with a sunny day, you can have a lunch outside in the garden under or banana and palm trees !!!

If you want to chat with us we are happy if you don't want we are happy .... whatever you feel like ... we are experienced tourist as well ... sometimes we are desperate to talk to local people, other times we feel like beeing on our own.

It's a lovely area of Roma. It's called the "garden city" "la città giardino" ...
P. Valery says that "in most cities the majority of buildings are silent, some talk and very few sing". In our area many buildings talk and ours sings ...

A square five minutes walk away is full of restaurants, bar, coffee shops, wine and beer places and nice parks where you can enjoy your drinks in spring summer ...

  • Back to nature with modern facilities and a touch of GAUDI....a traveller's dream home.

The house is situated about 25 mins. from the heart of Rome by bus. It is clean, functional and in a quiet neighbourhood.

Our hosts are warm, considerate and very good company. We highly recommend this place.

  • Our hosts Adriana and Alessandro were kind and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and it was a very nice room with enough space for me and my girlfriend. They also printed some tips for us :))

  • Adriana and her husband Alessandro are perfect hosts. They are a gem in the airbnb community. They ensured we had all that we needed throughout the week and were very kind. They even brought our washing indoors when it began to rain and we were out. The villa itself is fantastic. It's in a great location; close to restaurants and public transport, Very spacious and excellent with the kitchen is completely separate. We really enjoyed our stay in Rome and would highly recommend Adriana and Alessandro as hosts and their Villa.

  • This is a lovely apartment. The apartment consists of two separate rooms, connected by a small, private patio. The rooms are quite spacious and furnished soberly but tastefully. The Gaudí-like design of the bathroom is worth mentioning. The kitchen is basic, but has everything that is needed.

Alessandro and Adriana are two very sweet, welcoming people. Cool drinks were provided on arrival – and those were very welcome after our long journey. Directions to the apartment address were very clear. Useful neighbourhood addresses (shop, restaurant, transport, etc., all within walking distance ) are provided. Alessandro was always very helpful.

As a previous commenter mentioned: the upper storey houses a children's day-care centre (their outside play area is on top of the bedroom). However, the kids didn’t go outside before 10 AM. When they were out, we heard them playing, talking, laughing, crying, etc. but they weren't really that loud. One or two were curious and peeped over the fence now and again, but all in all, they didn’t bother us. We were glad we knew of the centre beforehand, though.

Note: during our stay, a bar opened a few houses down the street. Opening night (Thursday) was very loud and the music lasted well into the night. Next night (Friday), the music wasn’t as loud, but it woke me around 1 AM anyway (but I’m a light sleeper). As this bar has just opened its doors recently, things such as opening hours are still a little unclear. On the other hand, getting a drink while enjoying some live music nearby, may be a great ending to the day.

All in all, this apartment comes highly recommended. So, thank you for a lovely stay!

  • Are we in a big city? Are we in the countryside? Or in heaven? Waking up in Adriana and Alessandro's wonderful garden house to a chorus of bird songs was a lovely little confusion every morning. Then we'd chat a bit with our charming hosts over coffee before heading off into to city - which is easy and quick. Driving to and fro on our rented Vespa through jasmine-scented Via Nomentana even better. Saved the best coffee of Rome for our last morning, a few minutes' walk. Hard to leave, looking forward to coming back.

  • We really enjoyed staying at this lovely accommodation. The bus ride to the city was a small inconvenience compared to waking in the mornings with birds (website hidden)ing in the garden instead of traffic pounding by. A nearby supermarket has anything you want and the local gelato shop is very good indeed. Perhaps a little too good. Adriana and Alessandro did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Without hesitation we would return to stay in their cottage. It was clean and comfortable and the new kitchen/sitting room area had large glass windows looking out to the garden. Lovely!

  • Nice place, nice people. Not far from centre, just 1 bus, 25 min.

  • Me and my husband Sergey with our baby Helena spent a week in the house of Adriana and Alessandro. They are fantastic hosts! We felt there like at home (and slept there even better than at home!).
The house is beautiful, clean, cosy and fully equipped for everybody. Very comfortable bed! Roomy bathroom with all that we need. We even had our own big kitchen. It was so nice to have breakfast and dinner there!
Location is perfect. Bus stop very near to the house and it takes only 20 minutes to get the center of Rome.
Our baby walked in the garden every day - it's magic place!
We were really happy in this house. If we return to Rome again we will stay only there. Highly recommend this place to everybody!

I guess we are retired
I and my partner live in Roma, where we have a beautiful house with a large garden. We like to have visitors from all over the world. The little house we rent has its own entrance and it's just next to our villa. We share the same very large garden. With your own keys, an indipendent and exclusive space, you are free to come and go any time of the day. A bus stop is two minutes away from the house and a single bus takes you to the centre in 20 - 35 minutes (depending on the traffic). During fall, spring and summer you can also enjoy being in the garden and relaxing in a situation which resembles more the contryside than a city house. We are very easy going people, my partner is a painter and I like to do artisan works. Most of all we like to meet people from different parts of the world. Animals are welcome. That's all thanks. Bye bye.
