About this listing
It is spacious, full of light throughout the day. It has a balcony off the main bedroom and a large rooftop deck to enjoy a meal or lounge in the long chairs at sunset. It's only a block and a half away from the subway, restaurants & shops.
The bedrooms offer you comfort and peace -- all you will hear are birds in the morning, and the occasional trumpet solo rehearsal. There is one king size bed and one queen size bed, and two bathrooms (one large bathtub and one stand-up shower). The kitchen, living room and upstairs roof deck are for you to use and enjoy as well.
Aside from a home theater movie projector, internet, central heat and A/C, washer/dryer and sparkling or still water dispensers, if you have an iPad you can plug it into the high-tech speakers and listen to all your favorite music.
Additional little perk: if you have mail to send, just drop in the outgoing mail box.
Interaction with Guests
We have family living in the neighborhood, and we are friendly with our neighbors, so although we will be your first contact, someone may be present if you need help or information.
Everything. You will love your neighborhood bike rides, proximity to cool and varied eating/drinks spots and to cute boutique stores.
If you like cheese, be sure to check out Stinky. Have a cocktail at Lavender Lake just a few blocks away (outdoor garden with evening movie screenings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) &/or at Clover Club for a Prohibition like experience. Enjoy brunch at Buttermilk Channel.
Fun exhibits sometimes at the nearby Invisible Dog art space on Bergen St (btw Smith & Court).
You will love the neighborhood, it's very unique!
F, G, (Carroll Street stop) and R (Union Street stop) trains run 24/7 and the train stations are very close by. Bus services available as well on Smith street.
Other Things to Note
It's a new, green LED building so please be mindful of recycling (there will be a little explanatory note on the kitchen counter)
No smoking inside the apt. The building community just passed a rule against it.
Respect your neighbors as they are our friends too!
