The house is located just off the year-round Hwy. 140 to Yosemite. Mariposa is just a few miles away with shops and great restaurants. Tourist info center in Mariposa for, family-friendly activities and local tips.. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and comfy beds away from the crowds in Yosemite Park. The house has a fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to prepare your own meals. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The space
This is an older home but very comfortable. It does not have fancy features but if you want to enjoy the outdoors and nature of the Sierra Nevada range, this is the spot. Lots of wildlife to be seen and enjoyed. Make sure you keep doors and screens closed or you will have critters moving in with you. You are in their home! We have pest service, but you are in the middle of their world.

Neighborhood highlights

It is a private neighborhood of 5 acre parcels. Lots of room for privacy. There is a gravel driveway which took a beating this year with our historically heavy rain and snow fall. We are waiting in line but have a date of October to have it paved. Some people have had a hard time driving up because of inexperience of country roads. If you don't have all or 4-wheel drive it might not be good for you.

It's a great place for kids to grow up with a sense small town love. We are a very close knit, friendly community.
