This totally private cottage sits at the edge of a jungle gorge, a wall of jade stripe golden bamboo on one side, stunning ocean views on two sides and a large lawn in front. Tradewinds keep the temperature between 75 to 85 degrees by day and 65 to 75 degrees by night year round, eliminating the need for AC. Ceiling fans and windows bring deliciously fresh air into every room. For you enjoyment there is a private deck and soaking tub with awesome ocean views.
Features both king and queen size beds and a full futon in the living room. For your enjoyment there is a fully equipped kitchen and full bath. Free WIFI, LCD TV, DVD and stereo. Free washer/dryer, bbq, iron and board, hair dryer, beach towels, towels and linens. We offer you fresh fruits in season from our land, which may include coconuts, papayas, bananas, limes, avocados, oranges, and other tropical treats.
Enjoy the use of the 40 foot salt water swimming pool and meditation hut. Babysitting and private chef available upon request.
Private parking for two cars located next to the cottage. We are 15 miles from the Kahului Airport, 3/4 mile off the Hana Highway on the ocean side, close to cafes, grocery shopping, beaches and waterfalls.
A hidden gem located halfway between the jungles of Hana and tourist packed towns of Lahaina and Kihei. It is the best of both worlds: a natural, real Maui setting away from traffic and crowds in a central location for exploring all the wonders of Maui. Opportunities for hiking, biking, horseback riding, world-class golfing and surfing, bird and whale watching, and watching the sunrise at Haleakala are minutes away.
We live on the property and are here to help. In case of any problems please let us know as soon as possible. We are licensed by Maui County; our permit number is BBPH 2009/0010.
