We had a most lovely stay with Danna. My boyfriend and I had a delightful weekend and we greatly enjoyed outstay from the lovely room to the wonderful lush robes for convenience to scrumptious breakfast each morning with lovely freshly baked pastry's from a local bakery. We could not have had a more relaxing weekend!
Danna was actually my first Air B&B experience and it far exceeded my expectations. While the house and the rooms already look amazing in the pictures, they are even more so in person. The view especially! You have this incredible giant balcony overlooking the backyard which allows you to gaze at lush rolling wine-region hills for hills. The sunset and sunrise views alone make Danna's house worth the visit. I probably spent 85% of my time in that house sitting on the balcony, sipping coffee, reading the news, and watching deer wander out onto the yard.
Also worth mentioning was Danna's awesome breakfast. There were many options available: a delicious quiche, fresh fruit, fresh apple pastries, toast, yoghurt, cereal, coffee. Though I did not sample everything what I did have was incredible (especially the quiche).
Lastly, Danna herself was very helpful and sweet. She gave us excellent directions to her house, ideas for restaurants in town, AND free wine tasting coupons! My favorite, however, was how she encouraged us to enjoy the house and not feel as though we were meant to be confined to the downstairs area or our room. She was very open, friendly, and conversational. Her house is filled with many unique decorations which looked as though they were acquired from years of adventurous travel, leaving me to feel like the most unfortunate part of the visit was not getting the opportunity to hear some surely great stories!
Danna has a beautiful place to offer. Everything about her and her place makes one feel comfortable and right at home. Her kindness, warmth and knowledge of the area makes one's experience, whether it is exploring the area or just enjoying the peacefulness of her place, even better than could ever be expected. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
