You must go down to king street and the waterfront, and check out our timeline in the breezeway by the historic waterfront, you can roam the same streets George Washington used to travel by :) There are also many amazing shops and restaurants (too many to mention really) so please window shop to your hearts content :) The King street Trolley is free, the stop nearest the house is the Fayette street stop , I usually walk down to the waterfront, and catch the trolley back (since it waits by the waterfront , and has heat and ac) :) We also have a great farmers market in front of City hall every Saturday morning from 7am-Noon at 301 King street.

Awesome stay, as usual. This place has a ton of little amenities to make your stay comfortable, like toiletries, breakfast, coffee and tea, Netflix, and wifi. It's also easy walking distance from several great restaurants in Old Town. I never have any problems when I stay here.
As always - the perfect place in Alexandria at a reasonable rate. Will is the consummate host with his customers in mind. This is my second of four week-long stays here and I cannot come up with one negative to say. Lots of breakfast food and access to a full service kitchen with all the accoutrements of home. His guests are quiet and polite - and respectful. He supplies all the bathroom soaps and shampoos anyone would want or need. I highly recommend any of the three rooms in this quaint and sparkling clean town home.
Will's place is great and super convenient to DC metro, grocery stores, other food and amenities. He also has many supplies for breakfast and traveler/household needs. I would definitely recommend staying there and hope to stay there again when I'm back in DC.
Will is a fabulous and caring host. He ensures that every amenity promised is delivered. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable. I've booked two future visits to Alexandria, and would only choose a room offered by Will. He also makes sure every guest in his home knows the rules and is respectful to each other. This location is a short walk to the Braddock metro and I used the yellow or blue line, daily to get to a consulting gig in Washington DC...and then to get to DCA (the next stop on the metro). The grocery stores and restaurants are great - and within a short walking distance. AND if you like Old Town Alexandria - you are only 3 blocks away. I highly recommend Will's BnB - a great value for a business traveler like me.
My first trip to Will's Old Towne Alexandria establishment was with a friend and was very social, involving a lot of hanging out with fellow guests, great conversation, and exploring Alexandria—an excellent visit. For this trip my girlfriend came along and we had a lengthy agenda primarily in the capital proper, with most days spent in the District. Nonetheless, Will's place was just as accommodating, well stocked, clean, convenient, centrally located, friendly and an out-and-out supreme value as before. This is as close as it gets to an ideal AirBnB establishment, and any prospective visitors should take note and book a room ASAP with this peerless, inspired host and his superb guesthouse.
Will was great with providing information ahead of time before my arrival. Everything was as expected in the reservation. The place was clean and had the right amount of amenities. I especially enjoyed the fresh baked cookies. It was a nice touch in the kitchen.
This was my first stay in an Airbnb, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Will has gone above and beyond to provide a level of comfort lost on most hotel chains. It is obvious from the moment you walk into the house that Will has poured his heart and soul into providing a top-notch experience. I could go on forever! STAY HERE TONIGHT!

I am a nurse during the day, I really enjoy taking care of my patients :) I live in Old Town Alexandria, I enjoy dancing, happy hours with friends, dining out and quiet nights in from time to time. I also enjoy meeting new people, and sharing my knowledge of the area :) I renovate homes or fix cars on the weekends :)
