This room was for my cousin from Toronto, while I was staying longer-term in the carriage house next door. Tim very graciously accommodated a late arrival. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the description was certainly accurate.
Not only were the accommodations more than adequate, Tim and his partner went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and stress free. Many thanks and hopefully a return visit next year.

Tim was a very pleasant and easy going host. He was available on arrival to show us around, give us a tour and provide information for restaurants in town. The house is charming and has a delightful garden with fountain. Our room had a separate sitting area, a large bathroom with modern fixtures, great water pressure in the shower, fluffy towels and a huge bar of lavender soap. House is within easy walking distance of a delightful small upstate NY town. All in all, a very, pleasant experience.
The listing was better than we could have asked for. Tim was an excellent host! We arrived later than expected, and he had no issues at all with this. In fact, he greeted us upon our arrival and gave us a quick tour (as we were beat). He was very friendly, informative, and polite. He gave us privacy for the duration of our visit, but was available any time we needed anything or had questions. He even provided an iron and board for us to use! The quarters were very private with plenty of space, our own bathroom, and lots of history and period pieces throughout. WiFi was offered, and the water fountain in the back yard was a pleasure to fall asleep and wake up to. Tim left us an array of breakfast foods and was there to see us off and provide any information about the area we requested. Overall it was an excellent stay, and we couldn't imagine a better first stay at an airbnb listing. Thanks for being such a great host, Tim, and thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us for a very reasonable price! We will surely be staying again when we travel through the area.
It was a great place to stay and they have a great house.
We stayed in the backyard house. Tim renovated it before we arrived. One of the two beds were not ready for use, so we had to sleep in one bed. But that was not a problem at all, Tim apologized and gave us a discount for it.
If you're looking for great experience, I would definitely recommend this place.
In the morning a light breakfast was provided in our kitchen.
After that Tim was doing a little house-tour and explained a lot - this was very great and interesting!
