Welcome to The Bigfoot Bungalow — a family-friendly hideout in the Red River Gorge. 2 comfy bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, free tea, coffee, water, and a cozy fireplace make it the perfect place to unwind. Step outside to your tree-wrapped haven with firepit, free parking, and fenced yard for pets. Restaurants, trails, and adventure are minutes away. And of course, this is Bigfoot country. Be alert! The legendary resident sometimes wanders close, leaving footprints and stories for the brave.

The space
The Bigfoot Bungalow features two cozy bedrooms, a welcoming living room with a queen pull-out sofa, fireplace, and fun Bigfoot-themed touches throughout. The fully equipped kitchen comes stocked with free tea, coffee, and water, and the cabin-style bathroom includes a sink, shower, toilet, fresh towels, shampoo, conditioner, and toilet paper. Enjoy the covered porch with a swing and seating, and relax in the private, tree-wrapped yard with a firepit, plenty of parking, and a fully fenced area for pets (pet fee applies).

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire home and all outdoor spaces, including the fully fenced backyard, the firepit area in the front yard, and the surrounding grounds. The property sits on roughly two private acres, giving you plenty of room to relax and explore. You’ll also have your own private driveway, making arrival easy and ensuring the space is entirely yours during your stay.

Other things to note
Our standard $60 pet fee covers up to two dogs for stays of up to five days. Additional dogs are $20 each for the first five days. For longer stays, an extended-stay pet fee applies at $20 per day for the first two dogs, plus $20 per day for each additional dog (e.g., two dogs for 7 days = $100; three dogs for 7 days = $140). If you’re bringing more than two dogs or staying longer than five days, please message us after booking so we can arrange payment of the additional pet fees through Airbnb’s “additional costs” system prior to check-in.

Due to past claw damage, we are unable to allow cats. For comfort and cleanliness, dogs must stay off all beds and furniture and should never be left unattended in the fenced yard. Please always clean up after your pet. Thank you for helping us keep the space safe, tidy, and pet-friendly.
