This is a one-of-a-kind, super-romantic historic Carriage House (yes, the Carriages of the owner were stored below during horse and carriage days) that’s located at the rear of a private central courtyard Oasis in the heart of Downtown Savannah. Walk out the door and you were immediately at Whitfield Square – one of the most famous wedding settings in all Savannah – and from there the city is your pearl! My place is close to Forsyth Park, shops, restaurants, coffee, bars, and much more!

The space
Unique, heart-of-Downtown Carriage House unit set at the rear of the an enclosed garden oasis courtyard. Up a set of stairs to a private landing and deck with table, chairs and umbrella-enter with your own personal electronic code. The space is sharp and chic with romantic historic details like exposed brick walls, original fireplace and mantle, hardwood floors, heavy moldings, tall windows and more. This is a studio- style set up with comfy queen size bed dressed in high-quality linens, a custom down-filled loveseat, ottoman and arm chair. Flatscreen TV with expanded channels and full Internet/Wi-Fi service. Well equipped kitchen with full-size oven/stove, hi power micro hood, toaster and toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher and more. All dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware, etc. are provided. Bathroom with shower, travertine tile floors and vanity with granite top. All cotton towels and linens provided. Quaint, quirky, romantic and stylish..this one hits all notes just right. A true slice of Savannah in a serene, tranquil setting.

Where you’ll be

Savannah, Georgia, United States

This unit is centrally located within walking distance to all of the wonderful attractions of Downtown Savannah. There is a Kroger Supermarket within walking distance. The Mate’ Factor is an outstanding coffee shop and bakery just around the corner that has wonderful breakfast items, baked goods and coffees and teas as well as their namesake mate’. Definitely worth stepping into their magical little cafe. Just 5 blocks away is Forsyth Park and locals’ favorites like Brighter Day Health Food Store, The Sentient Bean coffee shop, Betty Bombers at the American Legion, and more—all just an easy walk away. Also close by are other favorites like Fox Fig Vegan Cafe )featured in The NY Times!), TaCa Fusion restaurant, Clary’s (made famous in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil), Screamin' Mimi's Pizza and Savannah Bier Haus. All of these and more are an easy walk from the Carriage House.

During your stay

Feel free to contact me, preferably by text, with any questions or concerns. There is no typical protocol in regards to interacting with other guests or the owners. We do ask all guests to be courteous and considerate of noise not just for other guests but for the adjoining residents and neighbors as well-we live in a compact, serene residential enclave. We tend to allow our guests quiet time and freedom to themselves unless they choose to contact us or need something specifically from us. Again, it seems the rule of the day if you will is ‘quiet sanctuary’.
