Nice, clean and cozy private room and spacious bathroom. The apartment was in a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a market, bakery and restaurants nearby. It is also a short walk away from the nearest metro station. Patty and Ansemf are very friendly and helpful, and are wonderful hosts. I had a great stay!
Patty and Ansemf are very hospitable and helped us a lot during the days we stay. The rooms is very clean and comfortable. We have wonderful memories there.
Ansemf and Patty were very helpful and approachable hosts throughout our stay in Daegu. They assisted us in our requests and also helped us out when we were not able to find the directions to the places we were planning to go on our itinerary. The location of the apartment was quite prime as well and cab drivers knew the way and it was not difficult to find. The room was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay here.
Once again the stay was good.
They are always helpful and wiling to help.
I like having my own space and you also have a separate bathroom which is great and beats most hostels and love motels.
Nice place, and great kindness host!!
We had a great time with patty's family. We have a little girl, 8 months old. So before we contact patty, we wanted to stay separated and clean place. There was right to stay. The family was nice and warmly welcomed us. I'd like to recommand the place to you.
It is my first time traveling/visiting a foreign country where, from what i have read and heard, not just language is foreign but the culture is also quite different from the one I know. Hence, I was somewhat looking forward to experience the foreign and the difference yet at the same time a little nervous about experiencing all those alone, in a foreign place that is also half of the world away, from home. Luckly for me, with Patty, her husband, many other Daegu residents( from all walks of life) friendly and helpful helps, that nervousness was quickly disappeared. And I was able to relax and also have been traveling and doing lot of sightseeing almost like a local. ;-) That is, I have since been comfortable of taking South Korea public transportation and even have gone to some far flung town via Sk's public and not worry about can't get help finding my way home should I get lost. ;-)
I do believe in first impression and think the possitive one provide a long lasting great experience. And Patty family and the Daegu residents and also its English helpful helpline ( (phone number hidden)) have given me that good lasting first impression putting South Korea into my great foreign country touring list ( eventhough my list was only just being created, recently ;-) )

Hello, I am Patty Yoon.
I am an English teacher and I have been teaching well over 10 years.
I also work as a study trip coordinator and I have made a lot of trips to many English speaking countries such as Australia, America, New Zealand and South Africa.
My husband and I love traveling, and we have many good friends who are from around the world. Actually we got to know about Airbnb through one of our good friends.
At first, we joined this Airbnb community for fun, actually to get special discount when we were planning to travel to America :p We have been Airbnb guests ourselves and we loved the experiences. Then we have had great guests from everywhere and we have been enjoying hosting ever since.
We think this is a great way to learn about different cultures and humanity. Each guest has brought wonderful stories and ideas, which is awesome! By being our guests, they have inspired us in many ways and added beautiful colors to our otherwise could have been monotonous everyday life. I think that is the most charming part of being part of this Airbnb community. We love talking about culture, philosophy, literature, movies and so on.
We both enjoy camping and a few Airbnb guests have joined our camping trips and they loved it.
Overall, I think Airbnb and we have been a great match so far, and we hope to enjoy this more in the future.
