Stylish Moroccan-themed casita just a few blocks from NMSU, nestled into a little garden oasis. Lovely light-filled space in this converted artist studio. More spacious and fun than most hotel suites, and in a location that can't be beat! With excellent wifi it is perfect for business guests coming to the convention center or university, and with the daybed with trundle can also accommodate families more comfortably than a hotel. Walled garden area and gated property with off-street parking.

Space includes two outdoor courtyards, a spacious bathroom with tile shower, kitchenette with mini refrigerator with full freezer, two burner range, full-size sink, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and electric tea kettle. Queen-size memory foam platform bed separated by room divider curtain from living area with cozy twin daybed and trundle underneath.

New Mexico State University is just a two-minute walk away, and the location is ideal as this is near the center of campus where the galleries and bookstores are located. The convention center of Las Cruces is about 10 minute walk or two minute drive, set at the Northwest edge of NMSU. Downtown Las Cruces has a great farmer's and crafts market every Saturday morning that can't be missed. The historic town of Mesilla is a ten minute drive to the west, and fifteen minutes to the east is the dramatic pink-tinged Organ Mountain range, now part of the new Desert Peaks National Monument, which abounds with hiking opportunities such as Dripping Springs and Soledad Canyon. White Sands National Monument and the Missile Museum on the White Sands Army Base are a short drive out Highway 70. Continue further into the mountains and you reach the Lincoln National Forest with Ruidoso and Cloudcroft, both rather beautiful. About an hour and a half drive north, you can visit beautiful Gila National Forest (Silver City, Pinos Altos) or Hillsboro, Chloride, or Kingston (old silver mining/ghost towns), also the Gila Cliff Dwellings are well worth the drive to explore.
