This pretty guesthouse has a separate bedroom plus a living room/kitchenette combination. There are fresh veggies and fruit in season.

Close to shopping/restaurants and 13-mins to downtown and the "Strip." You’ll love the space, the comfy queen size bed and country feel. There is room for 1 couple and their child/friend as I can place a twin bed in the living room or bedroom. Maximum guests 3. The sofa is not good for sleeping on. Host has severe allergy issues, no pets please.

The space
My garden is also used as a display garden and a classroom for teaching as I operate the Desert Gardening School here. Classes in the garden are usually in the spring and fall on Saturday mornings. But, visitors stop by almost daily for a chat and to see the garden and to take a brief tour.

Guest access
Guests are invited to enjoy the garden. There is a table and chairs and a lounge chair for reading or napping in the garden. During harvest season you may join in on picking fruit, nuts, garlic, tomatoes or whatever veggie is being harvested at the time.

Other things to note
Guests have a small refrigerator in the kitchen stocked with bottled water. There is a coffee pot and if you want to warm food there is a microwave oven and toaster. There is a bidet in the bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. The queen mattress is fabulously comfortable. I will set up the twin bed in the living room for the 3rd person fee. There is room for a maximum of 3 people, infants, children or adult. and there is no exception to the 3 people occupancy limit. There is a $15/night 3rd person fee.

I sanitize the Guesthouse and Guestroom for each new guest.

Guests have to be registered with me to stay here as this is my home and I want us to feel safe and uncrowded. Rooms are not to be used as a hostel or dormitory or for parties or commercial enterprise. If you are under 21 years old you MUST be accompanied by a PARENT.

I am a horticulturist and published writer who loves to garden and travel. I have an Airstream Interstate motor home that carries a motor scooter so I can poke around the towns and areas when I get where I am going. I operate The Sweet Tomato Test Garden and an Air BnB and teach gardening here and travel to speak in other desert communities. I like visiting and meeting new friends. I have a sizable vegetable garden and lots of fruit trees for you to enjoy. My adorable and friendly 6-pound Yorkie loves belly-rubs and loves to play and meet people. Are you allergic to dogs? She is not allowed in the guest rooms and is hypoallergenic (doesn't shed hair).
