A safe haven from these wild times! We’re listing the cabins finally for summer and fall availability. The Big Cabin, located 15 feet from the water’s edge, will easily sleep six. The Little Cabin, 30 yards from the House with a water view and plenty of privacy, is perfect for a couple.

Located on a secluded, non-thoroughfare road, it includes access to a private swimming hole and waterfall. Near the Shawangunk climbing mountain and plenty of hiking and cycling trails.

The space
The newly renovated Big Cabin has 3 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed aka it has two twin mattresses) and 1 bathroom upstairs (full size bathtub/shower); and downstairs there is a full kitchen, living room (fold-out queen sleeper sofa) with wood burning heat stove, half-bath with full-size laundry on the ground floor. In addition, there’s a new stream-side screen porch and deck with gas grill and a picnic-style table; and a large, open fire-pit in the yard near the stream. There’s also a Texas-style barrel grill slash smoker for charcoal grilling.

The Little Cabin is all new construction and is completely removed from the House. It is basically one large room with a separate full bathroom with shower. It includes a double bed, full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, dining table and living room.

The property is in Accord, NY on the Stonykill River. Westwind Orchard is down the road, and towns of Stone Ridge, High Falls, Kerhonkson along with plenty of grocery stores, restaurants, bars, antique stores and shops and other amenities.
Up the hill about 10 minutes is the entrance to Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve. There are pick-your-own fruit and vegetable farms, local restaurants and breweries, museums, great antique and junk stores, and even a petting zoo with a giant trampoline (Kelders Farm!). The college town of New Paltz is just 25 minutes away.
