Your own private studio for two on board our historic coaster Stella Rask. You have your own entrance and private bathroom, and the private sundeck offers complete privacy. The ship is moored at a very peacefull, secluded and scenic historic harbour, just a short walk away from the city centre. Bars, restaurants, museums and public transport are just a short distance away .

The space
Welcome on board of our historic coaster Stella Rask. The ship was recently transformed to a modern and spacious houseboat where we live with our family of four. The studio for two is completely seperated from the rest of our house and has it's own entrance and private sundeck. It is cleaned thoroughly after every guest. You can check yourself in by taking the key from the lockbox.

The ship is moored a very quiet, secluded and scenic historic harbour, just a short walk away from the city centre. Restaurants, bars, public transport and the historic canal area is just a short walk (or bike ride) away. Let me know if you have any questions, and hopefully we will meet you on board soon.

Historic coaster Stella Rask was built in Denmark just after the war. After a long life at sea she was converted into a stylish houseboat. In your private quarters in the bow of the vessel you have your own and comfortable appartment with a kingsize bed, pantry and en-suite bathroom. Enjoy the panoramic harbour view from your private deckspace.

Inside the cosy and comfortable studio you’ll find a kingsize bed, a kitchenette with coffee and tea making facilities (no cooking facilities) and a nice sitting area overlooking the historic harbour and warehouses. The bathroom is en-suite. Offcourse there is free wifi. A staircase leads to your private entrance and deck terrace.

We live on the houseboat as well, however, you have your own private entrance in the front of the ship. We may not be around a lot, but we’re looking forward to helping you with wathever you need to make your stay in Amsterdam memorable.

De Oude Houthaven (the Old Woodharbour) is a hidden gem on the waterfront just outside the busy city centre. The tranquil historic harbour is ligned with beautiful old warehouses and modern architecture. Nowadays the harbour is home to some 35 converted barges. We are just 10 minutes walk away from the Haarlemmerstraat and the famous Jordaan-area. A stroll to Central Station is only 15 minutes. Nice bars and restaurants are in walking distance.

Most places of interest are in walking distance or a quick bike ride away. Tram- and busstops are nearby. Nice bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Also nearby: public transport, laundromat, supermarket, coffeeshop, bicycle-rent, parks etc.

Inside the cosy and comfortable studio you’ll find a kingsize bed, a kitchenette with coffee and tea making facilities and a nice sitting area overlooking the historic harbour and warehouses. The luxury bathroom is en-suite. Offcourse there is free wifi. A staircase leads to your private entrance and private deck terrace. Enjoy the views and have a swim!

During your stay
We live on the houseboat as well. However, you have your own private entrance all the way in the front of the ship. We may not be home all the time, but we’re looking forward to helping you with wathever you need to make your stay in Amsterdam memorable.

Other things to note
Stella Rask is moored in a prime location. The historic Oude Houthaven (Old Woodharbour) is very scenic and super quiet. Yet, the busy city centre is just a short walk away. You will find nice bars and restaurants just around the cornerThe famous canals and Jordaan-area are within walking distance . Also nearby: public transport, laundromat, supermarket, coffeeshop, bicycle-rent, parks etc.
